"Babe where are we goin?" I asked as Josh and I sat inside the car on our way to some special destination he talked about this morning . He looked over gently; knowing how much I hated surprises as he slowly pulled a smile onto his face.

"Mamas let's just say you'll be so glad I didn't tell you," he replied before slowly taking a left onto West Boulevard . I started to feel the tips of excitement within my stomach which slowly turned into hope for my two little fighters who were sitting in a white room without me.

After ten unnecessary minutes of driving we pulled up to the hospital which meant one of two things to me. Either we were bringing them home or we were here to say goodbye. My heart instantly sank at the thought of evening having to say goodbye to two innocent babies who didn't deserve what they've already been through.

"Ma don't cry. Everything's alright just trust me,"  he said making me hold back my tears so I could continue forward to them.

After doing all the things we needed to do, the nurse gently led us to the twins where in hopes that were alive. As she opened the door I could see their chocolate brown eyes staring at me as they began to coo adorably. Slowly, I walked forward making sure to gently pick up Elena and Edward so I could cuddle them both without the worry of hurting them.

"Surprise baby! They are coming home with us," Josh answered happily which forced all the years that I've been holding back to pour out. As he approached he engulfed me and the twins into a tight but reassuring hug which told me everything was going to be alright.

"Lets get these tiny babies home to meet their uncles," I replied walking over to the car with their car seats in hand.
