"Alright, i'll see you tomorrow then?" Jax asked, smiling as we stood at the stairs where we had to split up.
"Yeah. And thank you. For everything you've done for me." I said, smiling.
"Im happy to help so, don't be worrying." He said, smiling.
"I'll see you tomorrow Jax." I said, starting to walk up the stairs to the second floor, where my dorm was.
"Bye Clem." He called out, walking away himself.
As i was walking, well, stumbling up the stairs considering how high i was, i pulled out my phone and unlocked it, opening snapchat. I saw some messages in the group, nothing i passed remark too though. But i did pass remarks on Violets chat, seeing she had sent me a message 27 minutes ago.
Violet: text me when you're here please
Violet: i wanna see u
I smiled as i stared at the texts, before typing and trying my best to avoid spelling mistakes over how high i was.
Me: im here
Me: walking to my dorm
I hit send and shoved my phone back into my pocket, now just a few feet from my dorm. As soon as i unlocked the door, walked in, and shut the door i jumped straight onto my bed. I was so tired because i was high. But i was so exhausted too, mentally. The past couple of days had been so draining. I turned on my side as i was laying down and reached into my pocket, pulling out my phone, seeing i had no new notifications. None from Violet more importantly. I knew yet hoped she'd reply soon but while i was waiting, i thought i'd scroll through tiktok for abit. As i clicked on the app, and when it was loading, i heard a light knock on my door, then the sound of the doorknob turning. I sat up and looked, seeing Violet walking through the door.
"Hey." I smiled.
"Hey." She smiled, keeping her eyes on me as she shut the door. "How that'd go?"
"It went, good actually. His dad listened and apologised. Alot." I shrugged, sort of just summing up what happened.
"Christ, you didn't spare any details." Violet mumbled sarcastically, yet playfully as she took a seat beside me.
I smiled as i stared at her. "I'll tell you everything but.." I hesitated before sighing. "you should know Jax and I smoked a joint before we came back. So im a little high."
"A little? Clem you're stoned, i could tell as soon as i walked through the door." She said. I didn't know how i expected her to react, if she would be upset or not but she didn't seem to be with the smile still playing on her lips. "Jax told me. He let me know before yous smoked."
"You're not upset?" I asked, just making sure.
"As long as you're okay, no. Im not upset. I am upset with the little detail you just gave me but i'll manage." She smiled, nudging me with her elbow gently while i chuckled ever so slightly.
"Okay, so his dad came in and said 'so, you can tell me why my son hasn't came out of his room in a week' or something like that. And then, i explained what happened at the party. I told him i was there and then.. y'know. It honestly sounded like he didn't believe me at first but then it was like, he knew something like that would happen. He started apologising and asking if i went to police. When i said no, he said he'd deal with Jay and said if i needed anything, to reach out to him that he'd get it for me or whatever. He wasn't even mad at Jax, or any of you for fighting Jay. He was just so annoyed and angry with Jay. And then, when he got up to leave, he asked me did i need anything again. I said no, but he didn't believe that so he pulled out his wallet and put 200 bucks infront of me. I told him i couldn't take it but he insisted. And now im 200 bucks richer."
