Chapter 20.

(just before this starts i did my research and couldn't find out when high schools got halloween/fall break since im not from america but i found out they dont which might i add shocks me but for this story, they're getting a week off for halloween just like i do sooo, yeah.)

A couple of weeks passed and halloween break finally rolled around meaning school was off from the 28th of October to the 3rd of November which i couldn't have been happier about. School was just overall frying my head, especially with Emily but i heard she was leaving for the week which made it better, knowing Violet or the group wouldn't have to worry. As long as they were okay, i was. Anyway, it was the 28th, a Monday, and Violet and I were laying in my bed, watching Netflix when she grabbed her phone but i thought nothing of it.

"You see the groupchat?" She asked, chuckling slightly.

"No, why?" I asked, adjusting myself to look at her as i had my head on her chest previously.

"Here." She said, holding her phone infront of me for me to take, so i did.

It was open on the groupchat, scrolled up to the top of the start of the chats.

Soph: so plans for halloween?

Brody: Ask Lou

Brody: He always has plans

Louis: damn straight i do brody

Louis: were going to a party

Sophie: sounds fantastic

Brody: Um whos?

Louis: skylar and cassy are throwing one in cassys

Louis: if thats okay with everyone??

I knew he was just asking because they were previously friends with Jay. But Cassy and Skylar kept in contact with me, reassuring me they were no longer speaking to him but everyone else in the group was still friends, including Jax.

Violet: is he going to be there

Louis: no already confirmed with them

Louis: i wouldn't have brought it up otherwise

Marlon: sounds good to me

Brody: Hm

Sophie: brody you know you're going to go anyway

I didn't bother to read the rest of the chats, i just handed the phone back to Violet.

"What do you think?" She asked, shutting her phone and throwing it onto the bed.

"Yeah, sounds good. As long as you're going." I smiled, tilting my head back to look at her.

"You already know im only going if you are." She smiled, tilting her head slightly.

"Okay, we're going." I smiled, watching as her eyes drifted down to my lips before she followed through, leaning down and placing a kiss on my lips.

"Sounds good." She grinned.

"Guys were going to miss the bus so could you all, hurry the fuck up." Violet groaned quickly, throwing her head back in frustration while Sophie, Louis, Marlon, Brody and Jax were all still finishing their alcoholic pre-drinks. Violet and I on the other hand had ours well gone.

A couple of minutes later, we had finally made it to the bus stop just in time to catch the bus into town for this party, all of us so excited. When we got off the bus, town was flooded with drunk teens, little kids so excited to go trick-or-treating with adults trailing behind them. And alot of fireworks being thrown in every direction.
