As the air was becoming more dense with each second, the Six Eared Macaque and the Monkie Kid got transported through the shadow, to the place of earlier "picnic", as Wukong called it.

As Mk speculated before, it was about to rain, and unlike any other rainy weathers that the half-monkey enjoyed, he thought that this one might not be the nicest memory to remember, considering who he's about to face again, since a while now.

Sun Wukong heard them coming from the shadow, and didn't even look their way, trying to focus on anything else other than the delicious fruits that were laying next to him.

- Oh, Mac! Great, you're here! You see?? I didn't eat a SINGLE fruit, while you were gone! I listened to you! The only thing i did was just move them under the tree cus I'm pretty sure it's about to rain.. So now you ca-.. - He got cut off mid sentence, by a gasp of his own. When he looked their way, he immediately noticed Mk, and could not believe what he was seeing. - K-Kid!?

- Hi, Monkey King.. - The Noodle Boy answered, laughing nervously. He waited for a reply, but there was no answer. Wukong was stunned by what he saw, as he wasn't at all ready to see Mk again. He would've never expected that this nice picnic spent with Macaque would take him to finally see his student again. After a few seconds of long silence, that felt like it was ten times longer, the Monkie Kid broke it. - C-come on.. say something.. Shout, be angry, disappointed, anything! Please.. I know it's not what you expected to see today, but.. I-..

He was interrupted by his mentors arms wrapping around him. This act caught the younger off guard, so he quickly tensed up. From all the things, he definitely didn't expect that, even though Macaque has told him this would happen.

- MK OH MY GOSH YOU'RE BACK, YOU'RE ACTUALLY HERE.. I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I'M GLAD YOU'RE HERE, KID.. I-I'M... I'M SORRY! I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY THAT HAPPENED, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I WOULD BREAK YOUR TRUST LIKE THAT, IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT YOU HAD IT ALL UNDER CONTROL AND I JUST MADE IT WORSE LIKE I A-ALWAYS DO.. - The peach-obsessed monkey practically yelled into the Monkie Kids ear.

The Six Eared Macaque looked at them, and smiled a little, once he understood that he infact has heard correctly, and that Sun Wukong was finally able to apologize properly. He was almost proud, but would never admit such a thing.

Mk on the other hand, was taking all of this with shock. He was able to hug his mentor back, and even smiled for a moment, after realizing that the other was apologizing. But he quickly frowned again.

- Y-yeah I know that feeling.. b-but I'm sorry too! I-I've just ran away like a coward and just tried to ignore everything and everyone around me.. that's not what heroes do! - Replied Mk. The Monkey King had went silent for a few seconds, remembering how he himself said the exact same thing to the Monkie Kid the last time they've seen each other. This did not help the situation one bit, as he now felt guilty for what he said, and he could see how it reflected on his student.

- Kiddo.. - He finally replied, pulling away from the hug. - You've saved the world countless times! No matter what dumb mistakes you make, I still think you'll always be hero enough. And.. Yeah, you did something wrong, but so did I! So I think it's even. Also.. as I think about it.. what even is "what heroes do"?? Safe people? Because if so, then didn't you do the exact thing, by saving your demon friend from trouble? - The ginger monkey smiled warmly, saying whatever first came to his mind. This really made Mk rethink how he viewed the situation. - ... BUT. THAT DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU PANICKED TOO FAST AND JUST RAN AWAY LIKE THAT! - His tone changed after a moment.
