A Look Into The Past-URVI

Gautami's POV

"How do you know Urvi? And...why does she matter to you?" I ask him, from a corner of his room. He was standing opposite to me, almost hidden under the dark. I don't want him to see me. So, I crouch even lower, almost completely hiding myself under his bed.

Kya hua...tera vaada....

He continues to sing (This is annoying me the most, I can't handle suspense.)

"I asked how do you..."

"Sister, she was my sister."

"What?"

"YES, you heard me right GAUTAMI KAWALE!" He shouted it out.

"Why've you been hiding this...and why didn't you tell before?"

"REVENGE. That's all I WANT. You killed my sister and you're living a normal life as if nothing happened."

I gasp. He's reminding me of the past that I've been running from since so long. The more I try to forget it, it pops in front of me whenever I think of her. No, I don't wanna BELIEVE this is true. It was purely an accident. I didn't mean to.....

"What are you thinking Gautami? I know you feel guilty. Come out and I'll rid you of your fears, guilts and everything you've been running from." His voice is echoing in the room, and if not, at least in my ears, brushing past my brain like a tornado, leaving everything in shatters.

Now, I'm beginning to feel scared. What if he has some weapon on him? What if he's planning on killing me? He doesn't care about his reputation anyways.

"Remember Gautami, how she was asking for help, screaming her lungs out and you just stood there, mocking her, making fun of her."

No I didn't want to. It was not intentional. I regret everything that happened just as much as the others do.

3 Years Ago....

"Students, this is your new friend- Urvi. She'll now study with you guys. Urvi, hope you enjoy your school life here in this new school."

Urvi was an average looking girl with glasses on her nose and oiled hair made into a braid. Despite her old- fashioned style, she looked bright and cheery.

She soon made friends with everyone in the class, let alone Gautami and her gang. This was because she suspected Urvi for all the pilferage of all the things that went missing in the class- a geometry box, or a fancy pen, some BTS merch, etc. It was later found out that the real culprit was someone else.

Still, Gautami couldn't develop a liking for Urvi. Everyone else in the class had a liking towards Urvi and Gautami did not like that. She was used to having all the attention on her. So she made a plan with two of her most faithful friends- Urmila and Mansi.

"I'll show that girl what she's actually worth of."

TIMESKIP

"Hey Urvi, I know you have a crush on Pranav." Gautami said, with a smirk.

"WHAT!?" Urvi was shocked beyond limits.

"Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about."

"What shit are you talking Gautami? I just...admire him, that's all.Mind your tongue before you talk to me like that."

"Then what about this diary of yours? It's basically filled with all the good things about your dear Pranav. What if I show it to him, huh?"

"NO, don't Gautami, please. I beg you, just return that diary to me. Give it please."

"I won't, not unless you do something for me."

After thinking a lot, Urvi replied,
"What do you want me to do?"
