"Our brave scout was captured by Megatron's forces and interrogated. Bumblebee was left for scrap, where a field medic managed to stabilize his condition. Though, the medic could've done better" Ratchet explained.
Nahko's POV
Turns out Bulkhead had taken Bumblebee into the field with him to go after a relic. Bumblebee got hurt and Ratchet tended to him. While lecturing him and Bulkhead. Optimus had returned with Jazz and Arcee. "Of all the scrap-brained ideas taking Bumblebee into a potential chase scenario when he no longer has the ability to access his wheels?!" he demands.
"He improvised" Bulkhead said sheepishly. As Bumblebee wakes up. Raf alerts Ratchet and Bulkhead, who look at him.
"You've already lost your voice box and your T-cog. Were you really trying to add your Spark to the list?" Ratchet asks him.
"Ratchet easy" I tell him.
"I'm useless" Bumblebee says again and I sigh.
"Don't say that, Bumblebee. You're not useless" Raf tells him.
"Raf is right, you are still valuable member of this team" I assure him.
"Look, I hate to break up the pity party, but the 'Cons just added unknown Iacon payday number two to their armory" Arcee states.
"Neither blame nor praise will modify past events, but we cannot afford to take further unnecessary risks" Optimus tells us. "Bumblebee, you are not to leave our base not until we can retrieve your missing bio-mechanism" he orders and goes to leave. Ratchet follows him.
"Bumblebee you can still help train me, you can still scout and fight even without your T-cog. No matter what, you'll always be apart of this family" I tell him.
"Nahko is right and I can help with your hand to hand combat" Jazz offers.
"So can I" Arcee adds.
"I could show you some wrecker moves" Bulkhead states placing a servo on Bee's shoulder.
"Thank you guys" Bumblebee says bowing his head. Optimus and Ratchet rejoin us. With a way to restore Bumblebee's ability to transform. There would be an operation transferring Ratchet's T-cog to Bumblebee. Giving Bumblebee the ability to transform again. But robbing Ratchet of the ability to transform.
"Obviously, since I am the other patient involved, I will be unable to perform the surgery. Therefore, one of you must serve as my proxy" Ratchet explains. The looks at the rest of us who have lined up. He looks at Bulkhead. "Better at breaking things" he says and moves onto Jazz. "To squeamish" he adds.
"You're squeamish?" I ask Jazz surprised.
"Only around open wounds, besides I'd probably break something too" he says sheepishly.
"Arcee, Nahko" Ratchet decides.
"Optimus has steadier hands" Arcee tells him.
"And I am still learning about your medicine" I add.
"Steady and much too large to be rooting around beneath my hood. Nahko you will merely be assisting Arcee. Giving her tools and monitoring Bumblebee and my vitals" he states. Arcee and I both sigh.
"You got this Nahko" Jazz and Miko assure me.
"Arcee, you can do this. You're as steely as they come" Jack tells her.
"On a battlefield, not in an operating theater" she tells him.
"Same thing, as long as you're behind the knife, not under it" he tells her. She sighs. Miko decides to lighten the mode a little.
