Nahko's POV
"You know, I might not be the first human on Cybertron, but I can still be the first human exchange student" Miko states. She, Jack and Raf are here. We have just told them about the Omega keys. She is one of Bulk's shoulders and I am on the other one.
"Why didn't you tell us about the Omega keys before?" Jack asks.
"You probably didn't notice, but things have been kind of intense around here lately" Arcee tells him.
"That's putting things lightly" I tell her.
"So, you guys could really be going home soon, huh?" Raf asks Bee.
"Don't worry, Raf. You'll come visit! Once we get our place set up, he can bunk with us, right, Nahko?" Miko asks me. I sigh avoiding her eyes.
"Uh, Miko" Bulk tries to say.
"You're taking me with you guys right?" Miko asks us. "You're not leaving me Nahko, right?" she asks.
"I don't know what I'm doing yet" I mutter.
"Aren't we getting ahead of ourselves here? Not only do we lack any actual method of reaching Cybertron, but Starscream now controls the sole means of our planet's restoration" Ratchet reminds us.
"As far as we know" Optimus states.
"You think Starscream's rejoined the Cons?" Smokescreen asks him.
"We fear it Smokescreen" I tell him.
"He might've used the Omega keys to buy back Megatron's favor" Arcee adds.
"Without first trying to sell them to the highest bidder? It wouldn't surprise me if he had the nerve to contact us and..." Ratchet starts to rant. Just then we get a message.
"Ok, that's weird" Bulk states and Jazz nods his head in agreement.
"Is it Starscream?" I ask hopeful.
"No. It is Dreadwing. And he wants to meet" Ratchet states.
"Optimus, Jazz and I will remain with Ratchet. You and the others go meet Dreadwing" I tell him. He nods his helm in agreement. Ratchet sent them to the coordinates Dreadwing had sent us. I pray it isn't a trap.
(Time skip)
It wasn't. Dreadwing gave us the Forge of Solus Prime. Which Optimus used to fix the Star Saber. Dreadwing has left the cons, but refused to join us. I doubt we'll ever see him again. It's a shame, he had honour. Megatron didn't deserve his loyalty. Anyway, Miko and the other two are now at school.
Anyway, we finally told the others about the Omega Lock. That which the four relics were designed to activate. We must locate it before Megatron and the cons do. We must locate the device before Megatron does, and secure it until we can recover the keys. Luckily we know where it is on Cybertron, thanks to Alpha Trion. Which we finally told the others the location of.
With the forge, Optimus also turned the ground bridge into a space bridge. The others gathered all the relics and weapons we had. I take a deep breath calming myself. "You coming?" Jazz asks me.
"You guys need all the help you can get" I state.
"Can you even breath on Cybertron?" Smokescreen asks.
"Yes, I can" I tell him. We get a notification of the con space bridge opening. "Prepare for battle" I tell them all. They do so and Ratchet opens our bridge.
"You may have the honour Nahko" Optimus tells me and I smile.
"Autobots, lets rock and roll" I tell them. They transform and I get into Jazz. They roll out. Once we arrived we set up our ambush. Well the others did, it was my job to find the Omega Lock with Jazz, we would then call the others.
"This blows. I wanted to fight" he states.
"I'm sure we will fight, Megatron won't give up easily" I tell him. "Lets just do our part and pray the others get the keys back" I state. He agrees. We soon reach the end of the cloud of the sea of rust and see the Omega Lock.
"Optimus, we found it. No cons in sight" Jazz tells him.
"Affirmative, maintain position we are closing in on the keys" Optimus tells us. Before he disconnects. I get out of Jazz and he transforms.
"Jazz, be ready for anything" I tell him and he nods his head. I go exam the Omega Lock. Aside from a little rust, it appears to be in take. I pray it's still functional after all this time.
'Do not fright child, it will be' Alpha Trion assure me.
'Be on your guard though, Megatron will not accept defeat easily' Megatronus adds.
'I understand' I assure him. "Jazz I will be look out" I tell him and head to a higher spot. A top a rusty tower. Which gives me a clear view of the surrounding area.
"Nahko, we have the omega keys and are on route to your location" Optimus states.
"Copy that, still no sign of cons" I assure him. "Did you hear that Jazz?" I ask.
"Got it" he assures me. Not long later, the others join us.
"That's it?" Smokescreen asks gesturing to the Omega Lock.
"Doesn't look like much" Bulk states.
"It's the omega lock" I assure them as I land on Jazz's shoulder. "Each slot contains one key" I add shrugging. As Optimus informs Ratchet of our progress so far.
"Optimus, an honor like this shouldn't belong to me" Smokescreen says offering him one of the keys. All four start to glow and vibrate. The ground starts to transform around us as the omega lock prepares for the omega keys. I smile, Alpha Trion was right. It is functional.
"It's time to restore your guys home" I tell them.
"Our home" Jazz tells me and I give him a small smile. Just then we hear a jet and turn to see Megatron. We all prepare to fight as he lands.
"Autobots, I would suggest that you put a halt to your task and hand over those keys" he tells us. Not drawing his weapons.
"And why would we do that?" Smokescreen demands. Just then a ground bridge opens up before Megatron. Starscream, Knockout and Soundwave appear, each holding a glass container with something inside.
"No!" I shout and go to attack Knockout. Arcee blocks me. "Let go of my sister, right now!" I shout glaring at Megatron. He just smirks.
"I'd gladly hand them over, in exchange for the keys" he states.
"And if we refuse?" Optimus asks.
"Then I will have no choice but to open the pods, exposing your pets to Cybertron's toxic atmosphere. And then we can all watch them instantly perish, together" Megatron states. I start to panic, trying to figure out a way we can save the others and stop Megatron.
'Calm young one, a Prime must control their emotions' Solus tells me.
'Screw that!' I snap at her. 'They have my sister, I will not lose her' I state. "Stand down" I tell the others and they all look at me surprised. Then at Optimus. "Optimus, she's my sister" I remind him as I look into his optics. Begging with my eyes for him to stand down. I can't lose Miko, I won't loss the only family who knows I exist.
