(Knockout's lab) Third Persons POV
"Is it ready?" Megatron demands of Knockout. Who had managed to buff out his scratches before Megatron found him. But he still hasn't repainted himself.
"Yes Lord Megatron, the cortical physic patch is ready for you to exam the techno organics mind" Knockout informs him.
"Good, Soundwave be sure to record everything" Megatron orders. Soundwave nods his helm and deploys the repaired Laserbeak. Who faces the screen as Knockout attached the cable to Megatron. Who goes in stasis and enters Nahko's subconscious.
(Nahko's subconscious) Nahko's POV
I look around confused. Am I dreaming? Am I still a prisoner on the Nemesis? Am I in a mine? Wait, I know this mine. It's where I nearly died. Just then I see someone walking further down the tunnel. "Hey!" I call out and they don't turn around. I run after them and get in front. I freeze when I see it's me. "What the hell?" I demand as she walks through me.
What the hell is this? Wait, is she heading for the open chamber? "Wait, come back!" I shout running after the old me. But I was to late, there was a massive explosion. I wasn't hurt, but old me was.
I was then in the hospital fighting for my life. Miko is beside me crying. Begging me not to leave her, to come back to her. "No, I don't want to relieve this!" I cry as I feel phantom from my old chest wound. I hold it closing my eyes.
"Nahko, you must fight" Solus tells me.
"What's happening?" I ask her.
"Megatron is trying to find out how you were made. Run" she tells me and disappears. I take off, I have to find the light. I have to get out of the this mine and back to my family.
"You can't run little Prime, I will find to what I wish to learn" Megatron says.
"You'll have to catch me first bucket head" I sneer. "And this is my mine, I make the rules here" I tell him. I think of a forest and one appears around me. I smile, I can do this. I take off through the forest. I need to find the off switch.
I enter a clearing and Megatron appears. "You can't beat me" he sneers.
"Maybe not in the real world. But this is my world and you aren't welcome here" I tell him as I glare at him. I start to become bigger, bigger them him and I fire at him. He transforms and jets off avoiding the blast. But I grab him and hold him in my giant hand. "You aren't welcome here, be gone!" I shout throwing him.
(Real world)
I wake up and rip the cable from my back. I then kick Knockout and take off avoiding Laserbeak. And Soundwave. I enter the corridor and see cons. Great I take off in the opposite direction as Megatron orders that I be recaptured alive. To hell with that, I am not going back to that cell.
"Go right" Alpha Trion tells me. I do so and keep running. I soon reach a familiar console.
"Ground bridge controls" I say and activate it to a random place. As the cons appear. "Thanks for letting me say, but your hospitality was horrible" I tell them and jump through the portal. It closed behind me. But I knew they'd be following, so I don't stop I keep running.
"Nahko to base, Nahko to base!" I comm through my commlink.
"Nahko, you're alive!" Ratchet exclaims.
"Not for much longer, I managed to escape the ship" I tell him. I then hear an explosion behind me. "Lets just say Megatron isn't happy about it and I could use back up" I state.
"Keep your comm link open, I am tracing your signal" he states.
"Hurry up!" I shout as I take flight. As I reach a cliff edge, I curse stopping. I'm surrounded.
"No where to run Prime" Megatron sneers.
"Nahko, jump" Ratchet tells me.
"Who's running?" I ask him and fall. Letting gravity take me as a ground bridge appears below me. I dive through it and Ratchet closes it behind me. "Whoa, that was close" I state as I sit down breathing hard.
"I am glad you're back in one piece Nahko" Optimus states.
"Good to be back" I tell him as Arcee helps me to my feet. "How long was I gone?" I ask.
"Not even a day" Ratchet tells me.
"Nahko" a weak voice calls.
"Jazz?" I say confused. "Jazz!" I exclaim and fly over to him. He's on a berth next to Bulkhead. Both look close to death. "No, what happened?!" I demand as tears fill my optics.
"He and Bulkhead tangled with an insecticon while deposing of toxic energon" Ratchet tells me sadly. "They'll live, but Bulkhead was shot in the back as they came through the bridge. He will require physical theropy until he is battle ready again" he explains.
"Why isn't Miko with Bulkhead? She'd never leave his side in this condition" I state.
"With Wheeljack confronting the insecticon who hurt Bulkhead" Bee buzzes. Of course she is, typical Miko.
"Thanks to Ratchet and Raf's efforts we now have the entire iacon database, which I am currently decoding" Optimus tells me.
"How many relics did we get?" I ask him.
"Just one" he says sighing. "The phase shifter, Starscream stole the apex armor, Soundwave got the resonance blaster and Bulkhead threw the tox-en into the lava. Where it can't harm anyone anymore" he explains. I sigh, at least we have the entire database now. We can only hope that Optimus will decode it faster then the cons.
Just then an injured Wheeljack appears with an uninjured Miko. "Miko!" I shout and tackle her into a hug. She freezes, then hugs me tightly crying. "Don't ever do that again" I tell her.
"Please don't leave me" she cries.
"I won't ever leave you" I assure her as Arcee kneels down beside us.
"Miko, you okay?" she asks her gently.
"She's fine! Kid's a pro" Wheeljack tells us. We both glare up at him.
"I wasn't talking to you" Arcee sneers.
"How is he and Jazz?" Miko asks.
"Stable" Bee beeps.
"Bulkhead will survive. He may never be fully functional again" Ratchet says.
"Don't worry, I'm sure he will be. He's a fighter Miko" I assure her. "Jazz is alive also" I add. "Lets go see them" I tell her and hold her. I take off ignoring Ratchet. I land on Bulkhead's chassis and let go of Miko. She sits down hugging her knees to her chest. Wheeljack left, claiming he couldn't see Bulkhead in his current condition. Which is understandable, not everyone can stand seeing a family member or friend so hurt.
"I'm never leaving you again" Miko cries into her knees. I pat he back soothingly.
"We're not leaving him or Jazz" I assure her. "Not until they both are well again" I state. She gives me a grateful smile. "Want to hear how I kicked Knockout in the face and escaped the cons?" I ask her.
"Maybe later" she sniffles. "You should be with Jazz" she adds. I nod silently and fly over to him. To see him unconscious again. I sit beside him on his berth and hold his hand.
"I'm here partner and I won't leave your side until you're well again" I vow.
"I should give you a health check Nahko" Ratchet says softly.
"Later" I tell him not taking my eyes off of Jazz. I can't believe I nearly lost him and Bulkhead. That Miko nearly lost Bulkhead and me. I can't afford to go to the field again, until I am stronger. I wish I had a T-cog, then I wouldn't feel so useless.
"You will get one when you need it most" Prima whispers to me. I don't reply. I just lay beside Jazz feeling exhausted and fall into recharge. Praying that he gets better soon. Along with Bulkhead.
