Time goes by fast when you start feeling numb to the situations around you. With the stress of the wedding, business, his own personal relationships with people the weeks flew by quite rapidly. Just like that soon enough the wedding day was upon him.

Most of the wedding preparations were done by his parents and Taehyung's family. They made sure to take care of everything as the two of them couldn't be bothered to even want to give anything into this contract marriage. Jeongguk didn't want to buy his own suit. The designer already had his body measurements because for many occasions he needed a suit and this was just one of them. A black tuxedo that fit him perfectly arrived at his house this morning.

He was sitting in his bed, waiting for his family to get ready so they could leave. There were hair stylists and make-up artists in the house, doing full makeovers for everyone. He doesn't know why they were going into this with full commitment; it's not even a public wedding. It's a small ceremony in the Shilla Hotel which is a five star hotel in Seoul. It is pretty famous among wealthy people to have all types of events there. It was the perfect choice because this hotel in particular had tight security and if anyone was to crash their wedding it would be near impossible.

Unlike the Jeons who had been in public a lot of times, the kims were rather hidden. Kims didn't like to be on the front pages of articles and the news. They are all really secretive about everything as much as they could be with cameras being everywhere. Only Taehyung's father is known to the public as there's probably like 2 or 3 photos of the brothers or anyone else in their family. It was their decision to keep the wedding as private as possible and Jeons had no choice but to agree.

Once everyone was done with getting ready for the wedding, the Jeons head out in their cars to the Hotel which wasn't that far away. Jeongguk was sitting in the car with only Jimin as the driver drove them to the venue. He was feeling all types of emotions. It was really strange for him that this is happening. The reality was scary to him. Tapping his feet nervously into the ground, he looked outside the car window and just tried to distract himself that he is going to be a married man in just a few hours.

Jimin noticed his best friend's irregular behavior and put his hands on his shoulder. He tapped on the button that rolled the partition up to have some privacy from the driver. “Jeongguk? Are you okay?”

“hm? what? yeah I'm fine.” Jeongguk responded to him, biting his lips. It was something he does when he lies, as he is nervous. Jimin knows that.

“You are not. You are nervous. Are you getting cold feet at the last second?” Jimin questioned him again and Jeongguk furrowed his eyebrows together in confusion.

“What? no. Why would I? I wanted this.” Jeongguk said to him, wanting this conversation to end but it didn't look like it would any soon. He was avoiding his gaze.

“Jeongguk, I know when you lie. Something is bothering you and you are not telling me. It's your wedding day and you look flushed. Not in a good way. What's the matter? you know you can tell me anything.” Jimin tried to get him to confide in him. Jeongguk stared at the partition and finally looking at Jimin

“I sometimes hate how well you can read me. This is confidential, you can't tell this to anyone. I need you to swear on my life.” Jeongguk says to him, a determined expression on his face. It was now Jimin's turn to be confused and…scared?

“Jeongguk, did you kill someone? What did you do??”

“I didn't kill anyone but you would be killed by my parents if they get to know about this and granny would be really sad.” Jeongguk says to him and Jimin nods.
