“Here's your key card, sir. Congratulations on your wedding and I hope you have a wonderful stay with us. Your luggage provided by your family is already in the room.” The receptionist hands Jeongguk one key card. Jeongguk stares at it and then back at the woman who has a complimentary smile on her face.
“It's only one room?” Jeongguk asks and the woman is confused for a second, she remains professional and nods.
“Yes sir, The Chairman booked a honeymoon suite for you and your husband. Our honeymoon suite has one double bed bedroom, hot tub, other high end amenities and additional services like spa treatments, romantic breakfast the next morning and much more.” the way she recited it sounded like an advertisement. He didn't need to know all that.
“Alright, thank you. Have a good day!” Jeongguk says to her before turning around to meet eye to eye with Taehyung who was on his phone typing away.
The guy had his coat on his arms and a few buttons of his dress shirt unbuttoned. His hair which was perfectly styled in the morning was a mess of curls now, falling right above his eyes. Taehyung treated the wedding like it was some party he was invited to. He saw the guy just dancing the night away with no care in the world. All up in his friends faces and just having a fun time. While he was in the corner contemplating his entire life.
Envy is something he feels quite often when he looks at Kim Taehyung. The way this man carries himself, the way he behaves, His attitude and his aura is entirely different from anything he has ever seen. Maybe this is the personality you have when you grow up in a household where everyone likes you and doesn't pressure you in every aspect of your life.
“Baby,What took you so long?” Taehyung glanced up at his husband and smiled, putting his hands on Jeongguk's biceps, caressing them.
“...Why are you doing this? no one is around.” Jeongguk said to him, subtly pushing him away. Taehyung maintained his expression.
“No one we know, sure but the public is around Jeongguk. I don't want to risk anything, who knows the man in the black beret and sunglasses in the back sitting with the big newspaper might be an undercover journalist. A paparazzi maybe even. Better safe than sorry, right baby? shall we go to our room? I'm so~ tired but I can stay up all night for you.” Taehyung said the last sentences in a higher tone so those around him can hear. Winking at Jeongguk who wanted to cringe so hard.
Linking their arms together, Taehyung chuckled and led them to the elevator. Jeongguk pressed the 17th floor button. Immediately both of them untangled their arms and stood on opposite sides of the elevator. It got silent for a few seconds as they watched the screen to see them going up on the floors. Soon enough they were on their floor. The metal gates opened and greeted them in a highly luxury hallway that smelled like a fragrance that costs thousands just to try.
Jeongguk got out first and started to look for their room. He was looking for ‘636’ room number. Walking past rooms one by one, it was not even surprising that their room was the last one in the hallway. Tapping the key card on the monitor and a click and beep sound was made simultaneously. Grabbing the handle of the door, Jeongguk pushed it open.
They walked inside their room and as expected the room was amazing and quite bigger than they thought. After the entry way there was a living space that was decorated with modern and contemporary style. There was a door that led to the balcony, the windows were quite huge in this place as they gave you a view of the entire city from up there. It looked prettier as the night had fallen upon them.
There was a bathroom to the right and the bedroom to the left. Taehyung went into the bedroom first because he was dead tired. When he entered the room he was in for a surprise. There was one queen size bed with rose petals on the floor and even on the bed. There were two swans made with flowers on the bed with a card next to it which was just Congratulating them on their marriage. In the corner there was a loveseat with a table that had some complimentary champagne and macaroons.
