12. Eternal Promise

There's something bout her, a love that's true,
In my heart, it was clear what I wanted to do.

I didn't want to seem like just a passing phase,
For my love for her was genuine, in so many ways.
Instead of "I love you" or "I like you," my innocent plea,
Was "I want you to marry me," for all eternity.

I wanted her to know my intentions were clear,
A life together, that's what I held dear.
So, the proposal went like this, with every beat of my heart,
A plea for her hand, right from the start.

Hey, can you do me a favor?

I want you to marry me.

Like... not now.

But yeah, when I get a job, and I am in the navy.

Do you know why? Because I really liked you... since the very beginning...

And I think now I'm in love with you ❤️ Please don't get awkward; I have a lot to tell you.

But I can't say everything... so please be patient.

I was literally dying from inside to tell you all of this.

So... do you know when all of this started?

It started when I saw you for the first time.

That time you had a speech in the assembly... that was when I heard your voice for the first time... and I felt like... peace... like... I really, really love your voice 😂❤️

And the next time... I saw you was at PTM... that time I guess we were filling out that consent letter... you came in your favorite color.

And... the next time we met... in the library... when there was a chemistry practical... I was waiting like, "When will you come, when will you come?" But the moment you entered... my heart just... skipped a few beats... and I just forgot that I also had to do the paper... and I was... staring at you like an idiot obsessed with you. I later realized that I had been staring at you for 30 minutes... and at that moment, I realized that I really, really love you ❤️❤️💯 And another thing I realized was that only 20 minutes were left for the paper to end 😂

I barely managed to finish my paper.

I just need you in my life... no matter what... you are the most prestigious wish of mine... just a simple thing... that... when... I saw you for the first time... I just felt... something... like a comfort zone... that I never want to leave... actually... if you remember... it was our result time, and I was literally so scared... that I would fail in physics... but... as soon as I entered my class, I saw you... and I don't know why... Look, I didn't know that I would meet a person as good as you... like, look, you are sweet, you are gorgeous, you have the most beautiful eyes... like... your eyes are so deep...
