Goodnight and goodbye

Me, Yoko and live were sat surrounding my phone in a circle. Well more a triangle. After I called them panicking about the message I received a minute before. All of us, confused. I explained everything that happened, the kiss, the weird tension. They agreed it was odd for her to message.

Even though the writing was mediocre Wednesday still managed to scare her.

"She's clearly drunk, probably at a party for Bianca's birthday" Liv finally spoke up.

"That doesn't explain why she messaged Enid though" Yoko replied, making Liv raise her eyebrows and more silence fell in the room. I grab my phone and click onto the keyboard.

"What do I reply" I said making Yoko rip the phone out my hand and immediately start typing. She hands me over my phone which read

I'm free Right now?

"But I'm not free right now I'm with you guys" I said arching my eyebrow. "Oh well I sent it. And we don't care we can wait" Liv said.

I practically threw my phone on the floor again as the typing symbol appeared.

All of our hairs connected as we got closer to each other. Somewhat scared of the response.

"Her house is like 5-10 minutes away so I could walk I guess"

"Absolutely not. I will drive you and me and Yoko can wait in the car if you're not out by 12 then we will leave. That gives you 2 hours and 30 minutes to talk out whatever you have to talk about.

We all nod at each other, as if it was a signal that we were ready. "But first you gotta change you are NOT wearing that"

I frown and look down to see my oversized kiwi shirt. I shrugged.

"Goodluck" they said as I got out the car. I nodded my head forward at them and slammed the door shut. I could feel my legs and arms shake like jello. I hope I'm not too long, I had to tell my parents I was going to yoko's house just incase they got suspicious.

I mentally punched myself for agreeing to come to her house. At night time. It looked even scarier when it isn't light. But it's fine. Yoko and Liv are in the car. They wouldn't leave me, Hopefully. I reached the door and it opened without me knocking. Strange.

"What took you so long" she stuttered on her words

"I had to find a way to sneak out"

She looked up at me. This time I couldn't tell her emotion. It was sad but happy. I could see her squint and tilt her head every second. The silence filling the room as I saw her weird state.

"Are you drunk?"

"Pffftttt no what makes you say that" she says as she goes to sit down onto her chair but misses it completely.

I run to her and offer my hand, which she accepts. I pull her back up and she gulps. "Okay maybe a tinyyyyyy tiny bit" she said using her fingers to show how "tiny" but drunk she was. Making it look nearly impossible that she was drunk.

Her hands wrapped around my neck. Her breath hitched and I felt her come closer. I froze as she puts her lips on mine. I kiss back for a moment. Letting myself feel the warmth of her lips again.

"No Wednesday, why am I here. We can't keep doing this" I say as I pull away, stepping back.

"Please Enid. I need you right now"

"Yeah right now but not tomorrow. You'll just ignore me again. I can't do it anymore I can't do whatever this is to you."

I see her eyes fill up with water. Her gaze softens as I felt mine tense. Us completely switching facial expressions. How could someone feel so confident when they ignore someone after kissing them. It was a big deal to me. But I guess it wasn't to her. I see her roll her eyes and pull her arms away from me.

"Now come on let's get you some water and to sleep" I say as I grab her hand. Her going stiff. Refusing to move. Using all of her body weight to weigh her down so I couldn't drag her.

"Fine" I say as I bend down a little and scoop my arms around her legs. One arm supporting her back. She immediately leans into my touch. She fiddled with my hair as I carried her up the stairs to the top floor. It was a good job that I used to do boxing otherwise I wouldn't have been able to carry her.

I prop her down onto her bed. I felt her grab onto my wrist preventing me from moving away to get her water that was on her bedside table.

"Please just stay with me until I fall asleep"

I felt a sigh release my mouth. I don't know why I gave into her pleads. But I did, I laid down next to her. Her body immediately engulfing mine. Her head on my chest. After a few minutes I felt her breath slow down and her eyes drop and not open.

"Goodnight Wednesday, And goodbye"
