Wednesday; a popular pretty girl in her school, loads of friends, a "fantastic boyfriend" but her whole life changed when Enid joined. What will happen?
Enid had woken up, the call ended halfway through the night. Her alarm didn't go off since she completely forgot to turn it on. She mentally cursed her Alexa for not automatically alarming her. Then quickly turned to her wardrobe to find some clothes.
She arrived at school, late for science. Her head filled with the call last night. How Wednesday fell asleep on call to her. Well she completely missed science. She watched as everyone walked out of the class as soon as she walked towards it. Wednesday, walking out last, this time leaving Enid unnoticed. Looking right through her as if she wasn't there.
The blonde shook it off and decided to turn around to find Yoko and Liv. Maybe she didn't actually see her standing right in front of her, maybe she was having another one of her spaced out episodes.
"Heyy girllll" Liv said as she ran up to Enid hugging her, Yoko jogging slowly behind. "We missed you"
"I literally saw you yesterday"
"yeah but you didn't join the call yesterday" Yoko said trying to dodge everyone walking towards her.
"I was on call to Wednesday last night"
Enid noticed how the two girls looked at each other, wide eyes. "What?" the blonde said.
"It's nothing just.. you'd have thought she would've broke up with Tyler by now" Liv said as she sat down next to Enid on the cafeteria table.
"I'm assuming that's why" Yoko said as she raised her eyebrows looking over at the raven haired girl who was walking up to the boy. Immediately pulling him into a deep kiss. His hand creeping down her back. Her biting his lip in response.
"I'm really sorry E" Yoko said grabbing the blondes hand that was on the table. She felt her eyes brim with tears. She choked them down and gulped hard.
"Maybe it was just like a 2 day thing, when we went camping" Liv said
But it wasn't. And only Enid knew that. She had promised to not tell anyone about their interactions since then. She knew the call meant more than nothing to Wednesday. But she couldn't help but doubt whether Wednesday was just playing around with her since she didn't have Tyler at the trip.
She watched as Wednesday laughed at Tyler's jokes more often. How she smiled with her dimples more. How Tyler would tuck her hair behind her ears and Wednesday would smile at him, the way she smiled at Enid.
She felt herself fading away, slowly. Mentally and physically. She had no motivation anymore to study, she began to fail her classes. She felt herself dig a bigger and deeper hole for herself, knowing that she won't be able to get out of it on her own. She stayed up most nights, staring at the ceiling wondering how it had concluded to this. Yet not one night did she ever get an answer.
"Get in Enid" Liv said as she followed the blonde down the road as she listened to music through her AirPods. After shouting at the blonde for a bit too long she finally noticed someone calling her name. At first she denied the invitation but eventually she got into Liv's car, after a lot of threats and forcing statements.
"We are going to have a sleepover, I already called your mom so there's no getting out of it."
"I don't really feel u-"
"No. We are going to have fun. No thinking of a certain person, No moping around. We miss you Enid"
They arrived at Yoko's house, walking into her room which was filled with fairy lights, a tent that looked like it took way too long to put up, with a mattress underneath it.
The blonde girl sat down onto the mattress next to Yoko and Liv after saying their hellos. They had started talking about some gossip of Bianca, which led Enid to thinking of Bianca's specific friends.
"Guys, I just wanna say I really appreciate this. I know I haven't been myself lately and I really do want to get better. Thank you for still being my friends"
"Of course, now hurry up and get in the covers it's freezing mate" Yoko said dragging the blonde girl down onto the mattress with her. All three of them in the bed looking up at the laptop displayed on a table in front of them. After all picking a horror movie which they spent half the time cuddled up against each other, they realised it wasn't a great idea. "Enid stop hogging all the covers" Liv said pulling her side of the covers forcefully making every ounce of the cover go over her instead. Leaving Yoko and Enid a shivering mess of the two girls hugging each other for warmth.
"Guys.. I lowkey want to dye my hair brown"
Liv and Yoko jolted their head to the tall girl. "LETS DO IT"
They had found spare tubs of brown hair dye in Yoko's mother's bathroom. Completely forgetting Yoko's punishment for the aftermath but the girl wanted to make Enid happy, so she did what she had to do.
"YOKO DONT JUST DUMP IT ALL OM YOU IDIOT" Liv shouted at the girl.
"BRO YOU ARE THE ONE WHO IS PAINTING HER HAIR LIKE A VINCENT VAN GOGH PAINTING. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING SWEETHEART YOU ARENT HIM"
Liv's mouth dropped. The silence filled the room. The three girls looked around at each other before bursting out laughing. Yoko gripping onto Liv's shoulder for stability as Enid started punching her whilst Olivia was barely breathing. Enid could feel her stomach do flips as she held her stomach, still laughing.
They spent the waiting time fighting over the stick with dye on it. First Yoko pretended it was some wand from Harry Potter, reminiscing about Voldemort. Then Olivia started grabbing Yoko's head as she painted dye over the lighter areas of Yoko's head. Enid pinning Yoko down in the process.
"Right Van Gogh you stay there, whilst we wash this masterpiece off"
"Bitch"
Enid's head was tipped over the side of the bathtub as Yoko and Liv fought over who held the shower and who practically massaged her head. "Enid you need to post on instagram otherwise you just look like a geek with no life"
"So basically just a geek?" Yoko said sarcastically making eye contact with the tall girl as she looked over at them.
"Exactly!"

Enid jolted her head at Liv and furrowed her eyebrows.
"Have you seen the comments" the new brunette shook her head. "Have my babies" "Can we get married" "brunette suits you girl" Yoko and Liv took it in turns until they both looked at each other in worry.
Enid jumped up and sat next to them reading the comment displayed on their phones.
