"No way I am in THE Enid Sinclair's room right now" Wednesday said as she closed the door behind her, following slowly behind Enid who looked at her with her eyebrows furrowed. The brunette watched as Wednesday walked around her room, touching every single thing in sight like a kid in a candy shop. Her eyes gleaming with joy as she found new things to look at, while Enid just sat on her bed, crossed legged waiting for her to finish.
She reached a small box on her desk, looking over at Enid with wide eyes. "You can open it if you want" Enid said reading her mind making Wednesday shocked.
She went to gasp dramatically until she decided to open the box instead. Inside was a white hair tie, similar to the one she gave to Enid during sports, the cinema ticket to the movie, which she bumped into her at, and pictures of her and the brunette.
Most of them being random ones she assumed Yoko and Liv secretly took. She mentally cursed them before the last one caught her eye. One she had remembered vividly. The picture Somebody took at Tyler's party as they were going to the closet. They had been stopped by someone who asked if they could take a picture for their Snapchat. The raven haired girl stood and stared at it for a moment. A small smile creeping up on her face.
She felt Enid's hand on her arm. "Cute right, still have no clue who took it though, do you?"
"You really kept all these things?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I?"
She shrugged it off. Truth is she had never had someone who did this before. Not even her own best friend. Enid had showed her more and more about how it feels to be loved everyday.
She continued her search around her room. Stopping, speechless when she saw a bright pink picture frame hidden away under her bed, just peeking out enough for her to see. "What's that?"
"Oh it's nothing".
She kneeled down and pulled out the picture frame.

"Oh my God this is the photo from when you came to my house"
"Yup you were so drunk that day it was crazy."
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the day I knew" she hesitated for a moment. But she didn't care anymore. She knew her feelings towards Enid wasn't just a crush, it was way more than that. She watched Enid's eyes shimmer. If she were a puppy she'd have the cutest puppy dog eyes in the world. She felt the admiration Enid had for her from miles away, she always felt her glances, her smiles behind her hands, the way she'd hide her flustered face in her books pretending to be reading when instead she was caught up on a small interaction with the raven haired girl. She watched as a smile crept up onto the brunettes face. "You knew what?"
"Are you really going to make me say it"
She crossed her arms over her stomach nodding a yes.
"I knew that" she went silent for a moment. "I was falling in love with you"
The taller girls hand outstretched onto Wednesdays cheek, a smile on her face. "I loved you then, and I love you still. I'm pretty sure I always will" the raven haired girl whispered tucking a strand of the taller girls hair behind her ear.
They felt the gap between them close increasing the amount every second. Their lips just inches away from each other's.
"Hi sweetie-" her mom, storming into the room, throwing open the door to immediately drop all the bags in her hand. Her dad trodding behind her. Enid looked over at them, then back at Wednesday worriedly before quickly pulling further away from Wednesday.
She watched as her parents looked at each other, an unrecognisable expression on their face. The silence was nauseating to Enid, wondering if Wednesday felt uncomfortable or worried about others knowing that something was happening between them. "I'm really sorry, I didn't know they would-"
"Enid. It's okay." Wednesday grabbed her hand and squeezed it gently.
"I just came to say that we'll be downstairs if you need us" her mom finally spoke, before smiling awkwardly and turning around, bringing the dad with her. Before he quickly turned around put his thumb up and whispered, "good choice Enid"
Making both of the girls laugh secretly with each other. Both of them holding onto each other for a second more before letting go of their sweaty hands from the tension in the room.
"Now come on, I booked us tickets for that movie" Wednesday said standing up quickly.
"Wait what movie"
"You know, the one you didn't end up watching because I walked into the cinema"
She sat for a moment before the realisation hit, making her jump up and run out of the door leaving Wednesday alone in her room. The raven haired girl went up to the picture frame of them, looking at it one more time before placing it on her shelf, facing towards her.
She heard footsteps run back up the stairs as she went to leave, Enid immediately running into the room and placing a kiss onto the smaller girls cheek. "Ok let's go now" she said before grabbing onto the girls hand and sprinting off dragging the girl with her. The girl laughing during the process.
