May or may not write a bonus chapter about Emma reuniting with an American friend: An eccentric old man by the name of Ben Franklin!
The plot would be Amalie is visited by an aging old man who traveled to Machecoul all the way from Paris after hearing of the amazing doctor who could miraculously cure any ailment. While treating his age related ailments they have a conversation and Amalie picks up that this strange old man is more than what he seems. Then he states his true reason to come here, he wishes to see an old friend again and personally give her the good news .(The Treaty of Paris)
This would happen between around 1783 before the first timeskip for historical accuracy. It's an idea that popped into my head and even if a don't write a chapter about it, it will be mentioned in the main story.
