Uske liye this punishment was needed shyd, and realisation ka bhi shyd zarurat tha. Chalo koi na, shyd ab jiji utna tensed nahi hai humara exam leke. ' Karishma caught in the act, chuckled nervously while thinking.
"Hello madam! Phir se kuch aur sochne lagi. Thappad khake, punishment milke bhi hosh nahi aaya kya?? " Haseena's voice, laced with feigned sternness, broke the silence.
" Par abhi toh main saare questions ke answer de chuki hoon, abhi khayalon mein khona is allowed na? " Karishma replied, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Accha ji... Soch phir. Lekin padhayi k time don't deviate your mind," Haseena said, glancing at the clock.
"Jiji, kya bana hai aaj... Us time aapne bataya nahi," Karishma inquired, her curiosity now piqued by the aromas wafting from the kitchen.
" Tera chutney !, Khaayegi .... " Haseena replied with a smirk, playing along with the banter.
" Kya yaar !! Har baar bas aap meri hi chutney banane pe tuli hoti ho... Aisa na Karo na... " Karishma pouted.
" Tujhko control mein rakhne k liye yeh sab dishes banana padta hai. " Haseena smirked.
" Kaisa behen mili hai humko! " Karishma said dramatically.
" Bahut acchi behen mili hai humko 😁 " Karishma said not letting Haseena say anything in reply to her question....
" Theek hai bahut hua, ab chal khaana khaa lete hai. Phir padhayi... "
Haseena was cut short... " Baad ka baat baad mei... Khaane se pehle yeh sab baat kabhi nahi karna chahiye, papa lagta hai" Karishma gave her a toothy grin...
" Accha ji 🙂 ... Ab hum bataye ... Kya paap hai kya nahi ! " Haseena pulled Karishma's ears ...
" Hehehhe ouchh !! Jiji hum toh mazak kar rahe the na hehehe .... Apko mazak bhi samjh nahi aata heheh " , Karishma said instantly....
As they stepped into the kitchen, the sight that greeted them was aloo parathas stacked high, and a bowl of dal shimmered like liquid gold.
" Woww Jiji 🤩 !! Itna sab apne kab kiya... ?" Karishma asked, her eyes wide with amazement.
Haseena said while washing the plates before serving food , " Jab tu padh rahi thi test k pehle "
" Oh , " Karishma responded, her mind wandering. ' Jiji abhi bhi shaam vala baat leke naaraz hai kya, if yes phir toh manana padega. Lekin, pata kaise kare... Samne se puche toh bolegi nahi h naaraz. Aur ab baat se naaraz jaisa toh lag nahi rahi. Uff kya kare? '
Karisma mused internally while enjoying her favourite dishes.
Later at night
The night was quiet, the only sound being the soft tapping of Haseena's fingers on the keyboard as she finalized the preparations for her meeting that was scheduled to be held the next day.
"Jiji," a soft voice called out, pulling Haseena from her concentration. She looked up to see Karishma standing at the door, a hesitant smile on her face.
Haseena's expression softened. " Baccha ? Kya hua ? Soyi nahi abhi tak ? "
Karishma shuffled her feet, a clear sign that something was on her mind. " Nahi wo.. Kuch soch rahe the..., aap free ho kya? "
Haseena closed her laptop, her full attention now on her sister. " Baccha..., idhar aa " She patted the seat next to her, and as Karishma sat down, Haseena continued, "Kya hua bol... Kuch pareshaan kar raha hai kya tujhe? "
Karishma nodded negatively...
