I couldn't believe my eyes. Karishma, my little sister, was alive. The shock of seeing her, after months of mourning her death, left me speechless. My heart was a whirlwind of emotions—anger, relief, confusion, and overwhelming love. Every breath I took was a painful reminder of the torture I had endured, both physical and mental.

' Karishma... Mera baccha... ' I whispered to myself, my voices trembling. With endless tears flowing down my eyes, I heard her saying their plan. Not exactly their plan, a plan of IB to protect their one of the important agent. Agent Tejas. Yess... That's me! I heard how my sister, with the help of my best friend faked her own death.

Then, another realization hit me like a punch to the gut.

Aadhira.

My sister had been in front of me all this time, disguised as Aadhira, and I hadn't recognized her. ' Kaisi behen hai hum jo hum apne baccha ko pehchan na paaye, aur wo... Saamne thi mera itna din tak, par kuch nhi boli. '

I had thought you were no more.... each day was a nightmare without you....! Kaise kar sakte ho yeh sab...?

I don't know whom to accuse....! Agar Nishu k jagah mai hoti toh shayad mai bhi yahi karti!

......

The moment I saw Karishma, alive and well, my world shattered and rebuilt itself in an instant. The months of mourning, the sleepless nights filled with tears and unanswered questions, all came rushing back with a vengeance. The pain of losing her had been unbearable, a constant ache that cut sharp through my soul.

Every day without her was a struggle. I had to force myself to get up, to breathe, to live. The memories of her laughter, her warmth, haunted me. I couldn't escape the guilt that I hadn't been able to protect her. The thought that she was gone forever was a weight I carried with every step.

And now, to find out it was all a lie, a carefully constructed illusion to protect me... The betrayal cut deeper than any wound. Nitasha, my best friend, had been a part of this deception. The person I trusted most had orchestrated this plan, knowing the agony it would cause me.

"Karishma " I said softly, my voice breaking. " Kaise kar paayi itna kuch apne jiji k sath...? How could you let me believe you were dead....? How...??! "

Her eyes filled with tears, mirroring my own. " Jiji... aur koi raasta nahi tha na... Aapko toh pata hai. Mujhe aapki jaan k parwa tha aur aapko is sab se suraksha dene ka yahi ek raasta tha "

" But at what cost ....? " I cried, the pain in my chest almost unbearable. " You watched me suffer, you saw my pain, and you said nothing. You just kept quiet and watched everything. How could you stand by and let me go through that ? How can you be so heartless Karishma ?"

Karishma looked down, unable to meet my gaze. " Sabse kathin kaam yahi tha jiji jo maine aaj tak kiya ho... har din mai apko batana chahti thi par kar nahi paayi... yakeen kijiye jiji... i was helpless. Instruction tha jiji, we couldn't afford any risk with your life. "

I shook my head, understanding everything but the betrayal too much to bear. " I don't know if I can ever forgive you for this. The pain you put me through... it was worse than death. " I said gritting my teeth, in order to control fresh tears.

" Theek hai jiji. " she whispered, her voice trembling. " Bas ek baat, jitna bhi waqt hum log alag the... hum bhi suffer kiye hai jiji. I had to watch you from a distance, knowing you were in pain, and it killed me inside. "  She said as she headed towards the car parked outside the warehouse, leaving me and Nitasha alone.

I needed time to process everything, to come to terms with the betrayal and the pain. But one thing was certain: our lives would never be the same again.

.......

" Kaha jaa rahe hai hum jiji...? " Karishma asked, as she sat beside Haseena.

" Ghar hi jayege na ofc " Haseena replied.

" Nahiiiiiii "  Haseena got a mini heart attack as Karishma shouted near her ears...

" Ab kya hua... Chilla kyu rhi hai....? " Haseena asked.

" Uncle hospital chaliye... " Karishma said to the driver not paying heed to Haseena's question.
