Time passed by swiftly. Eun Hyuk searched tirelessly for Eun Yu while waiting for Si Kyung. There had been no news of her, and she hadn't responded through the walkie-talkie, which had no signal here anyway.
As dawn broke, I sat alone, surrounded by their arguing voices over Mr. Kim closing the shop and withholding food. I chose not to argue; instead, I planned to conserve my food until everyone gathered later. I had learned recipes that could sustain and energize, even in small quantities.
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of suitcase wheels. Looking up, I saw a man with a badly bruised face descending with a suitcase. I tensed up immediately; this man was not a human, not after the inhumane things he had done. Viewers later learned his crimes, and I felt disgusted by my initial pity for him.

Returning to the present, he opened his suitcase filled with food, and everyone gratefully accepted. Bom, the dog, barked at him ,seemingly alert. His eyes found me in the corner, but I avoided his gaze, unwilling to associate with someone like him. I planned to wait until Sangwook arrived to deal with him.
"Would you like some?" His white shoes were in front of me. I shook my head urgently, hoping he'd leave. Sensing my discomfort, he bent down closer. "Are you okay?" he asked innocently, infuriating me.
I met his gaze with a cold stare. "Please, I'd like to have my personal space." I scooted away, noticing Eun Hyuk glaring at him from near the security room. They hadn't interacted much before in the show. Besides, I had more pressing matters.
Cha Jin-ok, the daycare lady's daughter would arrive running today. I remembered she was sucked by the vampire monster, along with the soldier Lee Su-ung, who tried to save her. He was a good man, and I'd hate to see him die. But how could I save them both?
