Note: I switch perspectives just btw from 1st to 3rd
Words couldn't form in my mouth and if they did they couldn't come out. I can't go out with Lachlan. I just can't. What it we somehow work out? What if we live a happy life together and get married and have a daughter? What if he dies and I can't support her anymore? I can't do that to my future daughter. I won't. "Out!" I scream tears falling down my cheeks. I hide them covering up my face not wanting to show him. Thoughts run through my head. Should I take it back? No. It's too late.
"Alexus, I-"
"No. Lachlan you don't understand. You'll never understand. I don't want to become another. Please just leave." I muffle out not lifting up my head.
"Alex-" He starts off but I cut him off.
"No! Lachlan just leave." I shout my cheeks heating up."Im sorry." He whispers before getting up to leave. He closes the door behind me and I grab my pillow crying into it. My life is just one big train wreck.
Third Person
Lachlan left her room unsure of what exactly happened. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Springfield." He told her grandma about to leave. "I-I'm not sure what happened. S- she just started crying and y- yelling and I'm sorry." He stuttered every so often trying to keep the tears from coming out of his eyes.
"Don't worry about it sweetie. Alexus just has been through some tuff stuff. Don't blame yourself. I'll talk to her. It'll be fine." He nods with a small smile hoping she was speaking the truth. He accepts her open arms and they hug for a second before Lachlan returns to his house.
-later that afternoon-
"Hey um Fiona?" He approaches his aunt who was in the kitchen fixing lunch.
"Yes, dear?" She asks continuing to stir the Mac n' cheese. (idk)
"Do you know what happened with Alex? I asked her out and.... and she just started freaking out. I was afraid she was having a health attack or something. She sighs and turns off the stove taking the pot off knowing it'll probably be ruined but that didn't matter right now."When Alex was young she was very close to her father and mother. They were wonderful people. I met them a few times when they came over to her grandma's house and they were wonderful. So full of life and they were so polite."
"Anyways when she was around six or seven her father died in a car crash. She was traumatized, at least that's what her grandma told me. (I forgot if I gave her grandma a name... oops xD) Her mother feel into a depression about a year after and found relief in drugs. Her grandma didn't find it fitting she lived with her mother so she fought and was granted custody of her."
"But what does this have to do with me asking her out?" Lachlan asks puzzled.
"Well, she might be afraid it might happen to her. She loves you Lachlan, and she's afraid you'll leave her like her dad left her mom. She's afraid she'll turn out like her other and your children will have to live without both of you. She doesn't want that to happen. Just give her some time. She'll pull through. She'll realize it soon enough." He nods sighing deeply and thanking her before going up to his room.Thoughts jumbled up his mind as he starred at the ceiling before looking over seeing Alex laying on her bed in the same position her left her four hours ago. His heart hurt seeing and knowing how much pain she had been through in her life, but he we determined to help her live past it.
