The remaining students of class 2-5, minus Jin-Ha and Kyung-Jun, gathered around a table in the recording room, tension thick in the air as they debated who to vote for before the 11 PM deadline.
"Now we really have to vote..." So-Mi sighed, leaning back in her chair. "What do you want to do?"
"Well, Kyung-Jun seems to be a Citizen," Eun-Chan broke the silence. "But we don't know about Jin-Ha yet. Then, it's right to save Kyung-Jun."
"But Kyung-Jun is weird too," So-Mi countered. "Why would he kill Yu-Jun if he's also a Citizen?"
"Right," Mi-Na agreed. "He had an axe too."
Yeon-Woo groaned in frustration. "Are you an idiot? He had the key. Why would he need to break the door?"
"Do you have a hole in your head?" The Choi girl shot back. "He must've broken it to not be suspected. You guys don't understand anything." She sighed, slumping back in her chair.
"No," Eun-Chan shook his head. "Jin-Ha is weirder. He wrote the others' names as if he were the police."
"I know," Da-Bum added. "Jin-Ha often borrowed money from Ju-Won.. to buy lottery tickets too."
"He might've killed him to avoid paying him back," Yeon-Woo speculated. "That's got to be the reason."
"Yoon-Seo," Na-Hee spoke up, drawing everyone's attention to the Lee girl. "Who do you think is the Mafia?"
"Actually," Yoon-Seo began, "something's been bothering me."
"What is it?" Han-Byeol asked, curious.
"Well, when the Mafia kills someone, it says they're executed. But why did it say Yu-Jun has died? What if.." She hesitated, fiddling with her fingers. "What if both Jin-Ha and Kyung-Jun are Citizens? What are you going to do then?"
"Why do you have to make it so complicated?" So-Mi groaned, leaning forward. "Just tell them not to vote."
"No," Jun-Hee interjected, shutting her idea down. "If we kill everyone like that, we're different from them."
"Jun-Hee's right," Yoon-Seo sighed. "Stop with the nonsense."
So-Mi rolled her eyes and continued, "The Police should use their Skill. And isn't there a Doctor?! They've only saved one person! Police, just use your skill. Then out of the two, we can easily save the Citizen!"
"Right," Yeon-Woo agreed. "That's a safe was to do it."
"And what if both of them are Citizens?" Han-Byeol raised her eyebrows, leaning back in her seat.
