Taylor was nervous pacing back and forth panicking not knowing how the family would react.
"Mom you're gonna create a hole in the floor if you keep pacing like that." Ophelia said.

Taylor then sat down at the large kitchen island, absentmindedly stirring a cup of chamomile tea. The morning sunlight streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow on the sleek, modern appliances and polished countertops. She could hear the faint sounds of Travis , and their family gathering in the living room.

Today was a special day. Taylor and Travis had invited both of their families over for brunch, and Taylor's nerves were a mix of excitement and anxiety. They had an important announcement to make, and she could barely contain her emotions. Ophelia was excited she couldn't wait to be a big sister and have a younger sibling.

"Hey, babe," Travis said, walking into the kitchen and wrapping his arms around her from behind. He kissed the top of her head. "You ready for this?"

Taylor turned in his arms, looking up into his reassuring eyes. "As ready as I'll ever be."

Just then, her mother, Andrea, walked in, followed by Travis's mom, Donna. "Taylor, everything smells wonderful," Andrea said, her eyes twinkling with pride.

"Thanks, Mom," Taylor replied, smiling.

"Where's the rest of the family?" Travis asked.

"They're all in the living room, catching up," Donna said. "Everyone's so excited to be here."

Taylor took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the secret they were about to share. "I think it's time," she said softly to Travis.

They walked into the living room hand in hand, where their families were chatting animatedly. Scott, Taylor's dad, was deep in conversation with Travis's brother, Jason, while her brother, Austin, was playfully teasing his nieces and nephews.

"Everyone," Taylor called out, her voice steady but full of anticipation. "We have something we want to share with you."

The room fell silent, all eyes turning to the couple. Taylor looked up at Travis, who gave her a reassuring nod.

"Travis and I have some exciting news," she began, her voice trembling with emotion. "We're... we're expecting a baby."

There was a moment of stunned silence, and then the room erupted in cheers and applause. Andrea and Donna rushed forward, enveloping Taylor in a tight hug.

"Oh, Taylor, this is wonderful news!" Andrea exclaimed, tears of joy streaming down her face.

"I'm so happy for you both," Donna added, her eyes shining with pride.

Scott and Jason clapped Travis on the back, congratulating him, while Austin lifted Taylor off her feet in a bear hug.

"This is going to be so exciting," he whispered in her ear, setting her down gently.

As the excitement settled, the family gathered around Taylor and Travis, bombarding them with questions and well wishes. Taylor felt a wave of relief and happiness wash over her. Sharing their secret had been the first step in a new journey, one that she was thrilled to embark on with the love and support of their families.

Later, as the day turned into evening, Taylor and Travis found a quiet moment on the back porch. The sky was painted with hues of pink and orange, and the air was filled with the sounds of laughter from inside the house.

"That went better than I expected," Taylor said, leaning her head on Travis's shoulder.

Travis smiled, wrapping his arm around her. "Our baby is already so loved."

Taylor placed a hand on her small bump, feeling the warmth of Travis's hand covering hers. "I can't wait to meet the baby."

Neither could Travis. Their lives were about to change forever, and they couldn't be more ready for the adventure ahead.

"I just can't wait to not be the only child anymore." Ophelia piped in
