Kayal, Arjun (Part2)

Latha wanted to meet Kayal again, so she went to temple on Saturday and waited for her. Kayal came and saw Latha sitting in staircase and greeted her politely. After pooja, Latha asked again about her but Kayal doesn't want to reply, so she moved the topic to Ria. Latha seeing Kayal dressed simply and no identity on being her married, she asked about her parents. Kayal doesn't want to lie, so she hurriedly started saying she has urgent work. Latha felt Kayal doesn't want to talk about herself and hiding something. She called her secretary and asked her to gather information on Kayal. As she is working in Women Welfare Trust, she can get the information easily. In 2 days, she got to know about Kayal, other than her Abuse from her in-laws.

Latha discussed all this to Sumithra Devi and Anjali. As they are not orthodox or believe in old traditions, they find she may be suitable for Arjun as its second marriage for both. Latha discussed the same with her husband Ram. She also informed him, about Kayal working in their company. Ram said he will check it and talk to Arjun. But Latha want to get Kayal opinion first before talking to Arjun. Latha went to temple again to make sure Kayal doesn't feel uncomfortable in their meet and make it natural. Seeing Latha again, Kayal avoided her by not to notice. But Latha called her after pooja, and asked she want to talk to her few minutes and told her not to run again.

Kayal felt bad, so she sat next to her and asked about Ria. Latha felt she has motherly love and feel and asking about Ria every time. Latha told Kayal to not misunderstand her intention and said she want Kayal to be Ria's mother. Kayal didn't understand and asked again. Latha said she want Kayal to marry his son Arjun and become her daughter in law. Kayal is shocked. She immediately stood and tried to walk away, but Latha told she know her husband died 2 years ago and staying with her in-law. Kayal asked how she knows all this information and asked Latha if she tried gathering information about her which is illegal and doesn't expect Latha to be such person and walked away.

Latha seeing Kayal walking away angrily, she tried to follow her, but suddenly stopped hearing two ladies talking about Kayal. She is usually not interested in ladies talk, as its about Kayal she wanted to listen. The ladies seeing Kayal had pity on her, and how Arya and his parents abused her. How after Arya's dead, her in-law still punish her for small mistake too and make her do all house work and going to job. They also discussed being orphan, she is depending on them as family even after she undergone so much.

Latha being the chairman of Women Welfare Trust, she knows how the women's are treated in the society being orphan / divorced / widow. Listening to their conversation, made Latha to determine to get Kayal out of the misery. On weekday, Latha called Kayal and asked for lunch. Kayal doesn't want anything to do with Latha, refused her invite. But Latha said, she is near to her office and asked for her lunch break to come outside. Latha being elder requesting her, Kayal finally accepted and came out of office.

Latha waited at restaurant in a separate room as they wanted a little privacy. Kayal came and greeted her. Latha before saying or asking anything to Kayal, she explained about her family and Arjun. How Priya left Ria being a new born and divorced Arjun. How Arjun lost trust in women and treated them badly, and left his child under their care. Feeling how Ria doesn't have both parents love, she thought Ria is not being much different as Kayal childhood. Latha said she is wrong to get information on Kayal without her knowledge and apologize to her. Ria calling her "ma",and seeing Kayal made Latha to ask her to be Ria's mother. Kayal is confused. She doesn't know what to answer, she said she doesn't want to refuse the elders request and came out. She doesn't want to meet them again and apologize and went back to office.

Latha came home and said whatever happened in restaurant to Sumithra and Anjali. Sumithra understands Kayal and asked Latha to be patient and give sometime to Kayal. Its been 2 weeks, Kayal didn't see Latha again in Temple or anywhere. She didn't feel good. She worried about Ria. What something happened? She wanted to check, but she doesn't have their contact details. She prayed to God to give Ria healthy and long life. She felt different praying for someone who is not related to her. While praying, She heard a voice calling ma.
