"Father, I'm done" the thirteen-year-old (Y/N) stated as she stood in Ethan's office who was sitting behind his desk, reading a newspaper.

The man looked up from the paper and a proud smile ghosted on his face as he set his eyes on his daughter who stared back at him with hollow eyes.

"I know you did well back there, young (Y/N)" Ethan complimented still not breaking the eye contact as he already noticed that she was covered in blood while holding a weapon she used. "You always have"

Not expecting a reply from his daughter, Ethan continued "Did you like the birthday gift I brought for you, (Y/N)?" He gestured towards the object in her hand. "I specifically had it customized for you. Scarlet is your favorite color, noh?"

"Yes, it was sharp" was all the young girl could master to express her gratitude.

Ethan let out a slight chuckle. "We both like a well-sharpened dagger, (Y/N). It's no wonder you are my daughter"

"Now off you go and get dressed appropriately. We will host a dinner and a dessert with my friends who are happy to celebrate your birthday with me"

(Y/N) often thought that if this manor were to be abandoned in the future, she picture that all that's left in this expensive residence is nothing but dried blood and souls with big resentment.

Unless God decided to save their souls.

As the daughter of the most well-known feared and influential man, of course, his young daughter must be dressed like a princess and stand like an executioner.

Standing before all her guests, (Y/N) watched them smile and clap joyously as her father congratulated her achievements so far at this age. All their clapping, and cheering out to her were blocked by her ears as those sounds felt like it was drowned in water.

Let the blood pour down on you and watch those creatures wither in pain, trying to grasp a chance of living longer.

Keep your wine fresh.

Ethan placed his hand on her shoulder "You are no Princess, (Y/N). Only a human with a hollow heart and no will to live"

"No one is as unpredictable as you"

Entering a dining room along with her father, her eyes scanned around the rich nobles who were waiting for them. The nobles greeted her and Ethan who also greeted them.

(Y/N) sat beside her father and dinner had finally begun. Ethan and the other nobles chatted as they dined in on their food while the (H/C)-the girl just ate a little, for she has no appetite to properly eat when it comes to a gathering or an event.
