POV: Vi

I relaxed back into the booth and actually felt...

Good.

Everyone was talking and laughing.

And it felt good.

Right now, Dina was picking on Mylo because she saw him talking to a girl.

"So? You and her?" Dina said with a quirked eyebrow raised at Mylo.

Mylo's cheeks went bright red.

"I-I don't know w-what you're talking about y-you big oaf!" Mylo squeaked.

Dina grinned at him and brought him in for a big hug. He tried to protest, but he was easily overpowered by her.

"Look at my little Mylo! All grown up!" Dina said loudly.

The entirety of The Last Drop cheered in response and Mylo's everything was red now. He was currently slinking down in his seat. I guess he thought that if no one could see him that it would save him from Dina's teasing.

I chuckled at the scene playing out in front of me.

"Morgana! You're the worst Dina! The worst!" Mylo whined.

"Oh, you know you love me, Mylo. Stop whining." Dina said as she put her arms on the booth and leaned back.

I couldn't help but admire Dina's relaxed confidence. She radiated it. Some days I didn't know if I wanted to beat her or be her. I don't think I could do either, but I could dream, couldn't I?

I wouldn't ever tell her that, but I'd admit it in my head.

And in my head, it will stay.

My eyes noticed a girl I hadn't seen make her way to the table. They narrowed when I saw that she wayed when she moved, and I knew I already didn't fucking like her.

Like why is she doing that while coming over here?

I guess I'd have my answer soon.

"Dina!" The girl called.

The grip on the glass I was holding tightened and I felt it start to crack under the pressure, so I flexed my fingers.

The last thing I fucking needed was more dish duty.

"Hey, Scarlett. What brings you to The Last Drop tonight?" Dina asked with a small smile on her face.

The fuck is she smiling for?

I let out a calming breath.

If I got too worked up, I would be punching something soon...

"Actually, I came here for you..." Scarlett said as she put her hand on Dina's forearm.

The whole table let out an 'Ooooooo' when bitch-face said that.

My jaw clenched and I could swear I heard my teeth grinding against one another.

"All right settle down guys!" Dina said with a laugh. "Let's go somewhere quiet so we can talk."

With that Dina got up from the booth and went with the bitch somewhere.

I didn't fucking get.

What did she have to do with Dina?

My knee bounced up and down rapidly, a nervous tick that meant that I was ready to blow. I watched as Harlett took Dina by the hand and dragged her to the other end of the floor. I didn't know why they needed the secrecy, but I didn't like it. I didn't like it one bit.
