Running.

I ran and ran and ran, so I could make sure Caitlyn's injury was all right.

'Morgana, are you all right Caitlyn?'

'I- I'll live...'

I made it to an alley where the two women got off my back and I shifted back to my human form.

Vi took hold of Caitlyn and sat down gently on the concrete below.

I rushed over and very gently looked for where she was hurt.

"My... It's my leg." Caitlyn got out as she groaned in pain.

I focused on her legs and saw the giant gash in the side of her left one.

It was right in the middle of her thigh.

"Damn..." I whispered.

Vi was on the lookout for enforcer and just barely missed running into a group who was patrolling this street we were on.

"We'll she be okay, D?"

Will she be Amari?

If she gets some help, yes.

"Amari says she will if she can get some help." I answered.

"Will you guys be alright if I leave for a minute?" Vi asked.

"Where are you going?" I asked already nervous about her being by herself.

"I'll be quick. There and back." Vi said, trying to reassure me.

I stood up quickly and walked to her with a determined gate.

When I got to Vi, I wrapped my arms around the hard-headed woman and didn't let go for a minute.

I didn't like that Vi was leaving.

I didn't like that we were all always so close to dying.

What happens when something does happen? Will I never get to express these strong feelings for these wonderful women? Will I let chances upon chances slip by because the 'time isn't right?'

No, I am done waiting.

I purred lowly in my chest at the sight of the woman before me.

I tipped Vi's chin up so she would look at me and...

I kissed her

I kissed her with everything I had.

I tried to communicate to Vi all I felt and had felt about her since we were kids.

I loved Vi.

I loved this woman who was a pillar of my soul.

When our lips disconnected, Vi looked dazed, but also shocked at the turn of events that had just happened.

"What- What? What the fuck?" Vi asked.

"Go. Go and come back to me, Vi. To us." I said seriously.

Vi's eyes focused on mine, and she nodded slowly.

"I promise, Dina." Vi responded and ran out of the alley before the enforcers could come back.

I walked back over to where Caitlyn was and sat next to her.

"Well... that just happened." Caitlyn grunted then chuckled. "I'm happy for you..."
