POV: Caitlyn

As the boat slowly made its way toward my destination, I let my thoughts drift as I felt the night's breeze caress my skin.

So much to think about.

So much...

I shook my head when I noticed that my thoughts were heading in a certain direction.

Jayce...

Yes, Jayce was always a mood killer.

Jayce said what I had was just a conspiracy theory, but he was wrong.

I knew what I had.

So much that has happened has lined up with my evidence...

My board didn't lie...

Shimmer.

The masks.

Blue hair.

My savior?

What part did she play in this, if any?

I don't know...

The mysterious woman was on my mind and had been since the explosion. She was like my night in shining armor that came to my rescue in time of need.

I was a tall woman, but she?

She was even taller than me.

Bigger than me and I...

Ah...

My thought had drifted again...

I needed to focus on the task at hand.

I was currently on my way to Stillwater.

It was the only lead I hadn't followed yet and I decided I would follow it now.

I would have had my information sooner if Marcus allowed me to question the tattooed man...

I swear that man is to incompetent to be the Sheriff. The only reason he had the position was because Sheriff Grayson had passed away. Oh, I longed for the days of the past that had Grayson as the Sheriff. She was on the most competent women there ever was. My mother constantly sang her praises, and she was the best shot I had ever seen...

I was brought out of my thoughts when the boat stopped, and I knew I had reached my destination.

Stillwater.

The prison surrounded by water.

It was inescapable and had exactly who I was looking for.

"I need to speak with one of the inmates." I said.

The Warden manning the desk looked down at me and squinted his eyes.

"Oh, folks in here aren't usually very talkative." The warden answered.

"This one was hit by friendly fire. He's got reason to talk. Must have been in today?" I asked, trying to remain calm.

The Warden remained silent for a moment as he stared at me.

"Oh. Inmate 2135." The warden responded. "Yea, I'm, uh, afraid that's not possible."
