Taylor's POV:
"Bus is here!" Ross yells from the front of the room. I am sitting on the couch next to Donna and she reaches over and squeezes my hand gently and gives me a smile.
"You ready?" Donna says softly as the rest of Travis's friends have begun to file out of the house on the bus. I let out a deep sigh and nod once at her and stand tying the vintage Chiefs windbreaker around my waist. Grabbing my cell phone and my purse from the kitchen and I follow Donna out onto the bus. I sit down in the seat across from Donna and in front of where Ross and Aric are already dancing.
"Taylor, we gotta know." Ross says as we are cruising down the highway, leaning over my seat into my line of sight. I turn around and look at him with a raised eyebrow and I can see Donna looking over at us.
"Are you really dating our guy or is this a very elaborate prank?" The bus gets significantly quieter at Ross's question. Donna's eyes get very wide and I can tell she is about to jump in and save me, but I wave her off and let out a laugh.
"I know it's hard to believe Travis would go for such a boring individual." I say waving my hand nonchalantly. I glance over at Donna who is grinning at me and Ross lets out a large laugh throwing his head back.
"I would hope we are dating otherwise it's going to be really awkward to explain why I have clothes in his closet." I say with a smile and Ross grins back at me.
"I like you, I think we can keep you." He says patting me on the head and sitting back in his seat immediately launching into another conversation with Harry.
"You handled him well." Donna whispers as we pull up into the side of the stadium. I give her a smile and feel the butterflies fill my stomach and a tight knot fills my throat.
The bus puts it into park and flings open the door as people start to file out. I stay seated and look out the window and see the sea of people hoarding into the stadium. Maybe I should have taken Travis up on his offer to go in under the tunnels or even stay in the family room.
"Come on new bestie, I've got your back." Ross says squeezing my shoulder and guiding me out of the my seat. I smile up at him and slip on the black mask and put on my hat and sunglasses, all part of my disguise trying to avoid being recognized. Donna squeezes my hand and walks off the bus and I follow behind her with Ross behind me.
Walking through the swarm of people, this is the first time I feel like I am a normal person, no one seems to notice me as of yet. Two of my security team are in with me in street clothes, Drew next to me and Steve a few people in front of me. When we enter the stadium I am guided to the quiet private walkways of the suites and can finally take a deep breath. I pull off the mask and sunglasses tucking them into my purse.
"Ready for your first game?" Aric says bumping my hip with his. I smile over to him and nod once looking through the glass windows in the hallway giving a view into the packed parking lot.
"I am. A little nervous for the public reaction of me being here, but overall I am really excited to be able to cheer on Trav." I say as he waves me forward entering the luxury box.
"We got you girl, screw what everyone else says." Aric says winking at me and wandering over to the bar. My eyes take in the suite, two large bars, a buffet of food set up, and plenty of plush seating.
"Taylor! What's your drink of choice?" Ross says standing behind the bar pouring a drink handing it over to Donna.
"Uh, vodka cranberry?" I say stepping up to the bar and Ross nods making my drink handing it over. I smile at him and follow over to where Donna sits and I steel myself and sit down next to her in the front row, right in the front of the window.
