Alyza calling Fides...
Alyza: Fides, I just spoke with Andrei. He called to say he's sorry and that he's really worried about you. He mentioned he wants to explain his side of the story.
Fides: (sighs) Mom, I appreciate you letting me know, but I'm not ready to talk to Andrei right now.
Alyza: I understand, dear. He sounded sincere and really seemed concerned about you. He kept saying he wants to make things right and explain what happened.
Fides: I know he means well, but it's all just too much for me right now. I need some time to clear my head and sort through my feelings.
Alyza: It's completely okay to feel that way. These things take time, and you shouldn't rush yourself just because he's reaching out. Your feelings are important, and you need to take care of yourself first.
Fides: Exactly, Mom. I need to focus on myself and figure out what I really want and need from this situation. I can't just jump back into talking with him without understanding how I feel.
Alyza: Healing and understanding your emotions are crucial. Just know that I'm here for you every step of the way. Whenever you're ready, if you ever are, you can decide how you want to handle things with Andrei.
Fides: Thanks, Mom. Your support means a lot to me. Right now, I just need to process everything on my own.
Alyza: Take all the time you need, sweetie. Remember, you're not alone in this. We're all here to support you, no matter what you decide.
Fides: I know, and I'm grateful for that. I'll let you know if and when I'm ready to talk to Andrei.
Alyza: That sounds like a good plan. Just focus on taking care of yourself, and we'll handle the rest together.
Fides: Thanks, Mom. I really appreciate it. I just need to get through today and see how I feel tomorrow.
Alyza: Absolutely, one day at a time. And if you need to talk, or if you just want to be distracted, you know I'm here.
Fides: I might take you up on that. Maybe we can do something this weekend to get my mind off things.
Alyza: That sounds like a great idea. We could go for a walk, or even have a movie night—anything you feel up for.
Fides: A movie night sounds perfect. Something light and funny, maybe.
Alyza: That’s a plan then. We’ll have a good time, and you won’t have to think about anything but which movie to watch and what kind of snacks to make.
Fides: (smiling slightly) Thanks, Mom. I feel a little better just thinking about it.
Alyza: I’m glad to hear that, sweetie. Remember, it’s okay to have good days and bad days. The important thing is that you’re taking care of yourself.
Fides: I will, Mom. And thanks again for being there for me.
Alyza: Always, Fides. You're my daughter, and I'll always be here for you, no matter what.
Fides: I love you, Mom.
Alyza: I love you too, sweetheart. We’ll get through this together, one step at a time.
Fides: (nodding) Yeah, one step at a time. Thanks, Mom.
Alyza: Anytime, dear. And remember, you have all the time in the world to decide what you want. There's no rush.
Fides: I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for reminding me.
Alyza: Of course. Now, why don’t you take a little break and do something that makes you happy? Even if it's just for a few minutes.
