“Jessie, we’re sending you to counselling.” I stared blankly at my head teacher. If she thought I was going, then she must be smoking crack. Damn fool. “How do you feel about this?” I looked out the window, watching everyone else having a good time.

“What does it matter anyway? You’re still going to force me to go.” I sighed. I felt defeated. I just wanted my mum. “Can I go now?” I asked looking back towards her. She nodded with a smile. I stood up and left the room. My dad had been sat outside waiting for me. He stood up and approached me. “Sorry dad.” He pulled me into a warm hug.

“Its okay baby girl.” I screwed him. “Sorry.” He laughed. “Come, let’s go home now.”

“So Jessica, what would you like to talk about today?” I had been going to the sessions for a month now. It was pointless and a waste of time. I sat in a room with a woman ten times my age with a mini skirt, listening to her rant on about nothing in particular. There was nothing wrong with me.

Eventually the session was over. As I left the room I bumped into someone. I looked up and for a second I was mesmerised. “What the fuck man!” And that’s all it took for me to break out of my trance. I screwed and was ready to cuss him.

"Listen Pri-" I was rudely cut off.

“Sorry b. I should have been looking where I was going. It’s just this fucking place pisses me off so much.” I sighed.

“Yeah, I know how you feel.” I mumbled quietly. I began to walk off.

“Wait.” Oh here we go. “What’s your name b?”

“No it’s not b. It’s Jessie.” He laughed. I wasn’t trying to be funny.”What's yours?”

“Reyes.” I nodded slowly. He had really smooth skin for a boy, wow.

“Do you moisturise or something, your skin is really smooth.” He laughed again.

“No I don’t. But I do cream everyday.” I observed his face for a while, then snapped out of it.

“Okay, bye nice talking to you.” He laughed once more. Am I really that funny? I didnt even say anything that time. I walked away; I could tell he was watching me so I turned around. He licked his lips and I screwed. Dirty Fucker!

“Hello.” I stared blankly at the little girl stood before me. I gave her that look as in to say ‘do I know you?’ she still stood there, with a grin from ear to ear. How does such a little person manage to bottle up so much excitment?

“I’m sorry, do I know you from somewhere?” my thoughts made their way off my tongue.

“Don’t you remember me?” was I supposed to? “About a year ago, you told me not to go to your school because you said it was,” she looked around making sure that no one was looking and whispered “shit.” I looked at her a little freaked out. Why would someone remember that?

“Oh right, okay then,” I said nervously. “I still don’t remember you though.”

“It’s alright.” She looked around once more, before turning back to me. “Do you mind if I stay with you for a bit. Maybe we could go to the park or something.” I was slightly worried now.

“Sorry babes, I've got homework to do. Why don’t you go to one of your friends’ houses or go and ride your bike or something?” then her lip dropped. She did look kind of cute though. I’m not going to give in, I repeated in my head.
