“So I was thinking, maybe we could do something tomorrow.” I rolled my eyes.

“Naomi, I'm busy.” She kissed her teeth.

“Busy doing what? All you ever do is roam the streets. And the one time I ask you to take me out you can’t even do that.” She started to raise her voice.

“Naomi, don't raise your voice at me. I will hang up the fucking phone.” I said through gritted teeth.

“Oooooo! I'm fucking scared. I've actually had enough of you. What’s the point in this relationship?”

“Naomi, you're getting me mad now. Don't fucking question me, because I told you that I'm busy. Get over it. Fuck man. Why must I spend all my time with you? The world doesn’t revolve around you, you know. Your going on like were married, or some shit like that.” She remained silent for a while.

“Yeah, you're right. Sorry. I gotta go, bye.” Now she's upset, trying to make me feel guilty once again. “Oh and just to let you know, tomorrow will be six months since we started going out.” then she locked off.

“Argh shit!” I berried my face in my hands. I'm taking another girl on a date, on my anniversary, which I should be spending with my girlfriend.

It was Friday and I was at school. “Wow Jessie! You seem rather happy today.” Ms Baving said to me.

“Yeah, it’s a nice day don't you think.” She looked at me strangely before agreeing and walking off.

“Jessie, you got a pen?” Tristan asked politely. I nodded taking one out of my bag. I handed it to him with a smile. He stared at me for a while before taking the pen and stuttering a thank you. “Why you acting wired Tristan?” he looked at me shocked.

“ME? Acting wired? Why you so happy. Why did you give me a pen?” I laughed.

“Tristan it’s a nice day and I'm in a good mood.” He smiled and stepped closer.

“So since you’re in such a good mood, can I have your number?” my face dropped.

“Don't push it. I want my pen back after.” He chuckled walking away and I resumed my happiness.

“Why you smiling soo hard?” Red nudged me.

“I don't know. It’s a good day isn’t it?” I beamed looking up at the sky. It was now break and we were sat on the field.

“Yeah, I guess so. But that still doesn’t explain why you’re smiling like that. What are you up to?” she asked knowingly.

“What would make you think I'm up to something? Can’t I smile? I am human, you know.”

“Fair enough.” She said giving up. “But Jessie only smiles when she's planning something.” She pointed a finger at me and frowned, as if I were a little girl.

“I love you Red.” I pulled her into a tight hug and squeezed her. She muffled something into my chest, but I couldn’t hear her. I let go of her and she breathed frantically. I just laughed at her.

“Where was you yesterday, James said you had things to do.” I bit my lip and smiled.

“Reyes.” I murmured. She looked at me wide eyed and gasped. “We didn't do anything!” I answered back hurriedly before any insane thoughts popped up.

“So what did you do?” she smirked.

“I just went to his house. Met his mum and sister and then he took me home.” She tilted her head to the side, just like Reyes.
