"Jay." I shook him lightly as I tried to wake him up. "Fuck this shit." I mumbled before I kicked him-not to sure where, but I knew it would cause some damage. "Jay! Get the fuck up bitch!" I yelled directly into his ear, hoping that he would become deafened by it. He sprang up, hitting me in the process. "Argh! What the fuck man." I groaned holding onto my throbbing forehead.
"Jessie, are you dumb? I'm gonna knock you out, you know." Seems like he already tried to do that -my head was killing me. "Bare waking me up and shit." He croaked. By now I was rubbing my forehead in attempts to sooth the pain.
"Oh, shut your stinking, sour, morning breath mouth. Dad told me to wake you up. I tried the whole nice approach thing, but clearlyI wasn't getting through to you." The pain began to subside.
"So you thought it would be funny to kick me in the ribs and burst my rass eardrums." He got out of the bed and picked up his towel.
"No,I thought it would be more effective. You're so dramatic man. And go to bed with more clothes next time." I screwed, leaving his room.
I went back to my room and quickly brushed my hair up into one and added a clip at the back. I lay on my bed staring up at the ceiling, humming along to The Lazy Song. It was depressing me slightly because I didn't wanna layin my bed all day. "Daddy!" I shouted, hoping that he would hear my cries for help.
"Yes Jessica." He answered stepping into my room.
"I'm bored." I whined. "I have nothing to do. Why do we have insect days anyway? Not that I like going to school or anything, but come on." He shrugged, so useless.
"Don't you have a session today anyway? It's at 2 30 love." He sat on my bed and ruffled up my hair. I gave him puppy dog eyes.
"I don't want to go daddy." I complained in a baby voice.
"And I don't want to pay tax, but we all have to something we don't want to do." I kissed my teeth and pushed his hand away.
"You're always talking about money. You're soo tight. Are you gonna drop me there?"
"Yeah, but you have to come back by yourself, I got shit to do." I screwed him.
"Dad, do you think your cool?" he laughed.
"Baby girl, I'm cool like ice." Another sad attempt at making a joke. I simply stared at him. "No?" he asked as if it weren't obvious his 'joke' was dead.
"No." I replied shaking my head. "Youcan go now." I shooed him off. He then sighed, shook his head at me and left the room.
I looked at the time, I hadan hour left until it was time for my appointment. Since I had already had a shower,I put on some decent looking clothes and left with my dad. When we got there, he handed me my oyster card.
"You think your smart, leaving your oyster card so I would have to come and get you." I kissed my teeth and slammed his car door. He screamed. "Don't do that." He yelled at me as he whined down the window. I walked into the building mumbling insults under my breath.
"Who'sa dickhead?" I looked up to see Reyes' smooth skin.
"Don't matter." I replied in a huff.
"Don't matter." He mimicked in a babyish voice.
"Fuck off!" he chuckled and I went to sign in at reception before taking a seat. He sat next to me and I could feel him staring at me. "Reyes, why you looking at me?" I asked in a bored tone as I played with my fingers. He laughed lightly.
"No reason." He continued to stare. He grabbed hold of my hand, refraining me from fiddling with them. I still didn't want to look at him.
"Look at me." he spoke in a hushed tone.
