Smaira's Flat

Smaira is sound asleep in her bed. Suddenly, the alarm goes off, and she opens her eyes. Still lying down, she turns off the alarm. As she tries to sit up, she cries out in pain.

Smaira: "Ouch, Mummy.."

She remembers the injuries on her back.

Smaira: "Oh God, please heal me quickly."

Smaira gets out of bed and starts straightening the sheets. She recalls her dream from last night.

Smaira (to herself): "It's been days since I had such a terrible dream. Completely ruined my mood today."

She heads to the bathroom to freshen up, and then moves to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

Smaira (to herself): "Just need to cook today, then I'll be moving to Aarav's home and enjoy his cooking. No more kitchen duties for me."

While making breakfast, she starts singing again.

Smaira (singing):

Tears start rolling down her cheeks. She wipes them away.

Smaira (to herself): "Sam, you are a brave girl. You can't be weak now. You've held yourself together for 8 years, and you'll continue to do so."

Smaira (to herself): "Oh please, God, don't give me dreams like that again. I hate everything that reminds me of him.
Now, I should only think about Vinay. Vinay loves me a lot. But what if he betrays me too? No, no, he promised he would never leave me. But they both promised too, and they left. First, they propose, and when I can't give them what they want, they leave me."

Smaira (remembering): "I miss you so much today. I have so many things to share with you. When will we meet again? But I believe, just like I met Aarav, I'll meet you and Vivaan too. You were the only one who truly knew the real Smaira. You were the only one who understood me. My dear bestie Ri...."
