After being sent home in the second round of Wimbledon two years ago, Naya had completely silenced her critics in a near flawless showcase of her talents all the way to the fourth round.

Noise of the crowd seemed to fade as she got into her zone, returning every ball with intent. Outside of tennis Naya and Coco were friends, but on the court they were fierce competitors.

Naya's focus was unwavering as she moved gracefully across the court, her determination evident in every powerful swing of her racket. Coco, known for her aggressive playing style, was equally matched by Naya's strategic and precise shots. The intensity on the court was palpable as both women fought fiercely for each point.

Despite the competitiveness between them, there was a mutual respect and understanding. Naya knew that Coco would push her to her limits, and Coco recognized Naya's undeniable talent. As the match continued, the two women pushed each other to new heights, showcasing the best of women's tennis.

After years of working, Naya finally was beginning to feel as though she'd made a name for herself. As a black woman in tennis, she was always held in comparison to the legends Venus and Serena Williams.

She was used to having her game picked apart and criticized, but something about this tournament felt a little different to others. She'd told Jude a few days prior at dinner that she could feel her celebrity outside of the sport growing as she advanced.

As a superstar in the footballing world and a name on everyone's lips he was able to understand her completely.

His star shon a lot brighter than Naya's but he knew the pressure of being in the spotlight and the weight of expectations that came with it. Since being introduced almost three months ago Jude had been a source of support for Naya, offering words of encouragement when she needed them most.

The match against Coco was a defining moment in Naya's career. It was a battle of skill, determination, and willpower. Every point felt like a step closer to her dream of holding the Wimbledon trophy in her hands.

With only a few more points to be collected before the match was won, Naya made a run to the other side of the court, screaming in agony as she felt a sharp and unforgiving pain move through her ankle.

The crowd collectively gasped as she fell to the floor, her racket falling beside her as medical personnel quickly rushed to her aid. The pain was excruciating, but Naya refused to give up. With tears in her eyes, she managed to stand up, before falling into the arms of one of the medics as she was gently guided off the court for further examination.

Naya's heart sank as she realized the severity of her injury. The dream she had been fighting for seemed to slip further away with each passing moment.

"Can I play on it?" Naya asked, her eyes filling with tears.

"I'm sorry, Naya. I don't know if it's a break, but playing on it could cause further damage," the medic replied gently, placing a comforting hand on Naya's shoulder.
