After what Naya could only describe as a perfect vacation in Brazil and a busy week of photoshoots and meetings on the West Coast, she and Jude had finally returned to Madrid after spending the summer away.

Although she was thankful to be back in the city she now regarded as home, it also signified a return to the daily grind for both her and Jude. Naya resumed her training with her tennis coaches while Jude joined his Real Madrid teammates and staff, diving back into their respective routines.

With her ankle now fully healed, Naya had her sights set on her upcoming season and ultimately putting herself back on the biggest stage in tennis at Wimbledon after such a heartbreaking end to her tournament this year.

"Beautiful tennis, Naya!" Maria cheered from the side of the court as she watched Naya put up a near-perfect rally against the machine on the other side of the net.

Naya beamed with pride at Maria's praise, feeling the familiar rush of adrenaline as she hit each ball with precision and power. The familiar sound of the tennis balls hitting the court, the squeak of her shoes, and the rhythmic breathing filled her senses, grounding her in the present moment.

As she finished the rally with a powerful forehand winner, Naya couldn't help but feel a surge of determination. She was ready to push herself harder, to train longer, and to give her all on the court.

"You're almost back at one hundred percent," Maria beamed as Naya walked towards her, using her top to wipe the sweat from her brow.

"I'm trying," Naya said as she took a sip from her water bottle. "I just need a little more confidence playing on my ankle."

"You do, but I also think you're in a space where you are ready to show the world you are one of the best," Maria smirked, her Spanish accent thick as her eyes ran over Naya. "You seem a lot happier now than when you first arrived in Madrid from Atlanta."

Naya couldn't help but blush as Maria complimented her. She knew Maria had been there for her through it all, from the highs of winning tournaments to the lows of dealing with injuries and setbacks. Maria had become more than just a coach; she was a mentor and a friend.

"Thank you, Maria," Naya replied, feeling grateful for the support and encouragement. "I do feel like I'm in a better place now, both physically and mentally."

"I think it might have something to do with a certain handsome football player," Maria smirked knowingly as she mentioned Jude, making Naya blush.

Naya's cheeks turned a deeper shade of pink as Maria teased her about Jude. She couldn't deny that having Jude by her side had brought a new lightness to her life. His constant support and understanding had been a source of strength for her, especially during the tough times.

"Yeah, Jude has definitely been a huge part of that," Naya admitted with a shy smile. "He's amazing."

Maria chuckled knowingly, giving Naya a knowing look. "Well, it's good to see you happy, Naya. And I have a feeling this season is going to be a special one for you. Today was an excellent first training session back, well done."
