"Baby, we're going to be late," Naya huffed as she took a seat on Jude's bed, waiting for him to finally be ready to leave the house.
Jude emerged from the bathroom, a sheepish smile on his face as he ran a hand through his coiled hair. "Sorry, babe," he said, grabbing his keys and wallet from the dresser. "I just wanted to look good for you." Naya rolled her eyes playfully, standing up from the bed.
"You always look good to me, no matter what," she said, planting a quick kiss on Jude's neck. "Now let's go before we miss the helicopter!" Jude laughed, taking Naya's hand as they headed out the door, ready to spend the next two days relaxing and wine tasting.
After a triumphant start to the season, Jude and the rest of his Real Madrid teammates were awarded three days off.
Jude and Naya had been invited by his teammate David to spend his two days off with him and his wife on a vineyard in Cenicero.
While the drive was only four hours long, for the sake of saving time, they were traveling to the winery via helicopter.
Despite the changing of the seasons, summer still clung to the air, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere for their getaway.
As Jude drove through the city of Madrid towards the private airstrip they were taking off from, Naya couldn't help but lean back in her seat, feeling grateful for the break from the hustle and bustle of their careers. Jude glanced over at her, a smile playing on his lips as he reached for her hand, intertwining their fingers.
"You're so beautiful," he gushed as he lifted her hand to his lips.
Naya blushed at his words, feeling her heart swell with love for the man beside her. She leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. "And you are the most handsome man I've ever laid eyes on," she replied, her voice filled with sincerity.
As they arrived at the airstrip, the helicopter was already waiting for them, its blades whirring as they approached. David and his wife were already there, waving excitedly as they saw Jude and Naya stepping out of the car.
The flight to Cenicero was breathtaking, with views of the Spanish countryside rolling out beneath them like a patchwork quilt. Naya couldn't help but be in awe of the beauty surrounding them, feeling grateful for the chance to escape and unwind with loved ones.
As they landed at the vineyard, the warm sun greeted them, casting a golden glow over the rows of grapevines that stretched out before them. Jude squeezed Naya's hand, a smile on his face as they stepped out of the helicopter, ready to embrace the next few days of relaxation and wine tasting in the company of good friends.
Before they were set to head off on a tour of the grounds, Naya and Jude were shown to their residence for the next two days.
The house that had been converted from an old farmhouse was absolutely stunning, the floor length windows that lined the lower level of the house allowed natural light to flood the spacious living area. The rustic charm of the exposed wooden beams and stone walls was balanced perfectly with modern amenities and comfortable furnishings.
