Suhasi took a deep breath.

"I have a deal for you Swara!" Jai prakash said.
"What?" Swara asked.
"Since you know pari was about to get married to Yuvraj! She ran away! This is the question over our prestige. So in place of pari, you get married to Yuvraj! Simple!"
Swara stood up and looked at Jai prakash in surprise. What the hell was he saying!
"You know I am already engaged." Swara said.
"So what! Not married na! Doesn't matter!"
"In your dreams! You are a shame on humanity! I love him very much and even in my dreams, I can't see anyone else except him!"
And saying so, Swara went away from there.
The next morning, suddenly, Swara again came back. Her eyes were swollen. Her face was covered with tears.
"Came back! What happened?" Jai prakash asked.
Swara was crying now. She folded her hands in front of Jai prakash and said nothing.
"Good girl. Now you understood whom will you marry if your fiance dies na! 5 vials of medicine na! Wait!"
"Not 5! Only 3" Swara said with difficulty. She was crying badly now, "Mumma! Papa! I.... I lost them!"
Jai prakash did not have even an ounch of sympathy in his voice. He ordered the 3 vials of medicine and looked at Swara.
"Intelligent girl! Now go inside!" Jai prakash said, "Just remember, I don't want to see you coming out of room till marriage. Don't worry! I have sent ramdisivir to your love!"
Swara nodded. As she entered her room, it was locked from outside. Only for giving water and food, the door opened. And then, it was opened the last day, just before her marriage.
In a red wedding lehanga, she was really looking very beautiful. The delicate bird was about to land in the hands of a cruel cat.
"Swara beta!" Suhasi entered her room with food.
"Ji badi ma!" Swara's voice was emotionless.
"Have some food!"
"I am not hungry badi ma!" Swara said without looking at her.
"I am sorry beta. Because of Pari... "
"Not anyone's fault. In fact it's good that at least she got the chance to live her life!" Swara replied. Her eyes were though swollen, not teary anymore. Her tears were dried up.
"You are jumping in hell. Still there is time! Run away from here!" Suhasi said.
"Last dose of ramdisivir is left. I can't go anywhere!"
"Swara but.. "
"Badi ma! I love him the most. I can't let him die!" Swara replied. She was silently looking at her engagement ring.
As Swara entered the mandap, the way Yuvraj looked at her, his eyes clearly had that lusty glare that shook everyone to the core. Nobody knew what would about to be happen to Swara. But she sat there like a stone.

There was sheet of silence in the room. Annapurna held her head and closed her eyes. Durga prasad was staring at the wall emptily. Uttara and Adarsh had clasped their mouths with their hands.
