I slowly opened the door to her now room.

I tried and tried to sleep but I was tossing and turning until I finally gave in to my desire.

I didn't want to see her.

I, however have been so distracted lately that while I cleaned the bedroom I forgot to grab some of my things which were in the library.

This used to be -

I paused.

No matter who's room it used to be, it now belonged to Emilia for as long as she stayed which from my expectations was going to be a long while.

Technically this was invasion of privacy but I couldn't care less. She was surely asleep according to Enzo so I would just slip in, grab the things and leave.

I could have done it in the morning but this would have required more talking which I was bored to do.

I made sure to open it just enough so that I could slip inside and then closed it so that the light didn't get inside.

I knew this room by heart, thus I didn't need any light or guidance.

Once inside I looked at my surroundings.

There were a couple of boxes which were probably for the move-in but I had to admit that she had made a quick process.

She had put her clothes on the closet already because I didn't see any of them scattered anywhere.

"I.. can't.."

I spinned around and glance at the girl who is tossing in bed.

She seems like she is having a nightmare

I turned around again, ignoring her and walking to the library and grabbing the book.

The story of the warrior and the thief.

It was stupid of me to come back this early in the morning to get it.

But.

I clench the book tightly in annoyance.

" ..am sorry.."
Came a small voice again.

I heard the bed crack and I turned around again.

She seemed really upset.

I ignored her again and walked to the door, gripping the door handle.

"Please..."

She murmured

I paused and looked down on the handle.

Accidenti

I turned around and walked close to her bed.

The moonlight illuminated her features better and I could see that her cheeks were glowing.

Tears.

Beat.
