I still had a wedding to plan.
Not only did my mind feel like blowing up and I wanted to literally vanish from the face of earth, I also had to pick a wedding dress.
But I must admit that it was one of the things I was not so moody about. The stupid buffet was already arranged by Alessandro, thank God, so I got that off my back.
So now, me, Aphrodite, Rose and Lauren where trying to pick the ideal wedding dress and of course, the bridesmaids dresses.
Still, I was glad to have some company at least. However, deep down I wished that my mom could be here too but she and my dad had to take care of some business stuff so they couldn't attend.
"Alright, ladies let's get this over with."
Said Aphrodite as she handed me the first wedding dress.
"I am so excited! I can't believe we get to dress you up"
Said Lauren as sge truly did seem excited. Dante, her assignment, was at a café nearby for business so she left him with some bodyguards and she came here. They had apparently made now after the kiss and they decided to just remain.. something in between friends.
I sighed as I walked in the dressing room and put on the wedding dress. The dressing room was small so it didn't have a mirror inside but I could tell that the dress was a little uncomfortable. Alessandro had insisted that I go on the most expensive tailor but I declined.
It was just a wedding dress and besides, I already liked the shop I had visited previously aka this one.
I stepped out and looked myself in the mirror.
The wedding dress is composed of an intricate and beautiful design, featuring a flowing and long train that extends gracefully behind the wearer as they walk. The body of the dress consists of a corset, with lace details that hug the body in a flattering way.
The skirt part of the dress is made out of layers upon layers of gossamer-like fabric, giving the gown a light and ethereal appearance as it floats around the wearer's legs. The dress is also embellished with shimmering beads and gems, and the neckline of the bodice features an array of delicate lace ruffles.
"Well.. it's nice.."
Said Rose
"But I don't think the shimmering stuff is very much your style, Em."
She said with a smile
Aphrodite nodded
"I agree, not your style babes. Don't worry about it, it's only the first one."
And oh boy did I took that as a threat.
We ended up spending more than three hours inside the shop and the poor assistant, was so patient with both me and my friends. Whenever I would tell her that I would like to try something else, she always chuckled and said not to worry. In a way, she reminded me of Luna, she was about her age and so sweet.
