One night I managed to sleep without taking medication and this one night I ended up being awoken by a damn phonecall.

"Augh" I sat up on the bed and swinged my legs to the side of the bed and stood up, taking a quick glance at Emilia to make sure she was still asleep on her side.

Fortunately, she seemed to be a deep sleeper which between the last time I went into her room and now was not difficult to uncover. I cursed under my breath as I walkee over to the kitchen counter and picked up my phone, hoping that didn't mean I lost my end of the deal.

Not that Emilia would know anyway.

"Che cosa?"
(What?)

I snapped the minute I accepted the call

"Sir? It's Oliver"

I rubbed my temple
"I saw the caller ID, what do you want? Do you know what time it is?"

"Yes sir, I apologise but you told me to call you if I found anything of importance about the piece of paper we found at the explosion."

That surely picked my interest. I moved over in front of the balcony and pushed the twin doors open allowing myself outside and closing them behind me.

Emilia didn't need to know anything of that and judging by his tone I wasn't going to like the answer.

"Go on"
I said as I leaned over to the wall

"We found a second hand print, one that doesn't match Apollo nor anyone of his family. We aren't quite sure if it's anyone who is working for Apollo but the camera footage didn't show anyone else"

I sighed

"So you think it's the one that wrote it?"

That was surely big. Sure we had to find the matching fingerprints which would be difficult but then we would find the mastermind behind all this situation.

"Yes, sir. I just wanted to let you know"

I run a hand through my messy hair and glance at the horizon. The sun is slowly raising from behind the mountain, indicating that it would be morning soon.

"Alright, call me if anything comes up and continue searching for any match"

He reassured me that he would make sure to continue the search and call me if anything came up.

I told him that he should call me after midnight because I was under no circumstances loosing the bet I made with Emilia.

If she wanted to play with me then so did I.

After I ended the call I decided to stay outside for a little to let the cold air hit my face.

God she was so ethereal yesterday. If she was a Greek Goodness when she wore her clothes, she was ten times prettier with a bikini on.
