I looked myself in the mirror and already I felt shy.
Even though me and Lauren sometimes teased Rose about not wearing dresses, I, myself, wasn't doing that either. She may looked like a model but I didn't.
I sighed as I spinned around to see my exposed back. I knew it was nice on me but I still felt a little weird to go out. Then again, you didn't get to go on such an event everyday.
I glanced my reflection on the mirror once again to check my makeup and it was something simple. I was in no mood to look like a Kardashian, even though they did look pretty.
I grabbed my handbag and put my flash drive inside. It was shaped like a lipstick so I would pull off the disguise easily. Afterall, this was my first ever mission and I needed to show everyone - including myself - wrong.
I glanced at my hand watch and saw that I was already late and I rushed downstairs on the living room. Walking down the stairs, I felt as a wife of a rich CEO, I quickly dismissed it. Why the heck could I be the CEO? I bet I could do it with my eyes closed.
Finally, the stairs came to an end and I could make out the silhouette of two people, Alessandro and Enzo. My heels clicked on the floor as both their gazes flicked over to me
Enzo whistled
"You are killing it girl!"
He said with a smile. Alessandro on the other hand..
When I came in, he was looking at his phone, possibly texting someone. However when he heard Enzo whistled he turned around and his eyes met mine. He stopped for a second and looked at with his usual expression but his eyes betrayed him.
His eyes looked me up and down for a second before he looke away
"You are late"
He said as with his annoyingly calm tone."Sorry, we can go now"
I said, hoping my voice didn't sound as annoyed and frustrated I was. He clearly had become a little softer with me and he didn't admit it.
I walked towards then, Alessandro in front and me and Enzo coming behind.
"Ems, I swear sometimes I feel as if you are stealing my best friend"
Said Enzo with a boyish grin
"He clearly dislikes me, he didn't even complement me."
I said as I crossed my arms over my chest. Wait, why did I want him to complement me anyway? I didn't like him, no way I did! Besides, he was a manipulative Mafia man and I always dreamed of the perfect boyfriend, one that would buy me gifts and then not afraid to say I was his.
Then again, I had taken in account what my therapist had said, aka that I didn't know much about him. Maybe I couldn't get to know much considering it was him we were talking about, but I could try and become a little more understanding.
