Shinso POV (LLL SHINSO 😍😍🤭)
~~~
The sports festival is tomorrow. I've been training years for this, ever since Eraserhead adopted Liv and I. Even before that I trained. Admittedly with villains but trained still. So what was making me so nervous now?..
"MORNINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!" Came the daily scream. I groaned, rolling over to check the time. 6:33, just like every other day. I always found it an oddly specific time for Present Mic to wake up the house but somehow he got it to the exact minute every single morning.
"SHUT UPP!!" Aizawa shouted from his bed, minutes before any movement was heard from his room. Slowly, the floorboards began to creak more and I took it as a sign to get up as well.
Eri was already running around the house and when I wasn't out my bedroom by 7, she came knocking on the wooden door, "Brother Hito? Are you coming down for breakfast yet? Papa made waffles!"
I chuckled, pulling on a hoodie then going to open the door, "Waffles?" I asked, slowly sneaking closer to the stairs than she was, "Bet I can eat them all before you even get downstairs!!" I shouted, instantly dashing sideways and practically jumping down the staircase.
"HEYY! THATS NOT FAIR!" Eri shouted, her little but rapid steps easily heard from downstairs, "I HAVE LITTLE LEGSS!!"
I burst into laughter, skidding on the kitchen tiles, "shit shit shit," I said in desperation as my back slowly fell closer towards the hard floor, suddenly grey was soaring towards me, Dadzawa caught me just in time within his scarf.
"HA!" Eri shouted, passing by me and grabbing a waffle off the counter top with a proud grin.
I just smiled at her, standing back up so dad could realise me and grabbing my own plate of waffles to take to the table.
"You're oddly... energetic for a morning." Papa acknowledged, grinning at me, "It's nice to see you so happy!"
I scoffed, rolling my eyes although for some reason I was unable to rid myself of the growing smile. Aizawa passed a mug over to me, it was hot and filled with coffee. I took a sip, thanking him before my attention glanced back towards Eri.
"Is Liv coming home today?" He asked, placing down his own mug and helping Eri up onto her chair at the breakfast table.
I shook my head slowly, "I don't think so. Pretty sure the leagues last attack really affected her."
They both nodded, "I hope she feels better soon." Papa said, smiling gently, "And if you see her please do remind her that her bedroom is always empty and waiting for her when she wants to come home."
I smiled, nodding, "I will."
Liv was my sister. Biological I mean. We have been through hell together or at least mostly she has been through hell and tried to protect me from being burnt by the flames.
I've now found my peace, my heaven but she seems to struggle to accept it. She's working towards becoming a pro hero now although that does mean she has to go through the rehab training programme specifically designed for villains as she's too old for UA.
"Sports festival then?" Aizawa questioned, deciding to change the subject as we had been quiet for a while now. "You nervous?"
I shrugged, eventually nodding as I accepted the truth. "Yeah... not sure why though."
"It's totally normal, kiddo!" Papa reassured, "You should have seen me at the sports festival..."
"He was embarrassing." Dad explained.
"Was not!" The blonde man defended, "You were just wayyyy too relaxed for the circumstances!"
Tired, judging black eyes met my own and I chuckled. "I simply didn't care if I won or not." He stated, "I want you to go into the challenges tomorrow with the same attitude because it really doesn't matter where you place, none of it is going to change anything for you at the moment."
