SHINSO POV AGAIN ISTG 🧎‍♀️🧎🧎‍♂️
~~~
Hell. That's the one and only word I could possibly use to describe today. Pure evil, wicked and firey hell.
The day had started off pretty typical. I went to see Katsuki in his dorm, joked about how Kaminari had acted yesterday and talked about the day to come while he got dressed in his school uniform.
But when we passed through the common rooms, the perfect simplicity of the day was completely ruined by (respectfully...) the bouncing my little pony personification of an alien motherfucker looking bitch.
She leaped at us. Her face was beaming with a bright smile spreading rapidly across her cheeks. "AHH BAKUBABE! SHINBABE! IS IT TRUE YOU'RE DATING? Or are you just fucking?" She squealed with a wink.
My breath got caught in my throat. It felt like a massive ball was blocking my airway and I couldn't swallow it down.
My eyes dashed towards Bakugo who was glaring at her, straight faced. He didn't look very bothered but I knew better than to assume he was okay. It had only been days since we spoke about how he wasn't quite ready to tell people about us, now he was being forced out... unless we denied it.
So that's what I did.
"Don't be ridiculous, Pinkie Pie." I had scoffed. "Like Bakugo would ever want to date me - we hate each other, remember?"
She rolled her eyes, "Enemies to lovers is a highly popular trope~"
"Ohhh, I get it." I began, sneering my words, "You just want to push your fantasies onto real life people? Get out of other peoples business, okay?"
Bakugos face was unmoving. I couldn't help but wonder if he was dissociating.
"Whatever you say, Shinbabe!" Mina giggled in her sing-song voice. It was obvious she hadn't believed me as she skipped away but at least it gave me a chance to talk to Katsuki about what the fuck we were going to do next.
I looked around the common room to make sure nobody else was around before taking his hand in mine. "Darling? Are you okay?"
Suddenly, he blinked and his entire body jumped back into motion. "Huh? Oh... yeah, sorry."
"You have nothing to apologise for..." I whispered. For just a second, I contemplated asking him what he wanted to do but then I realised now probably wasn't a good time.
Instead, I decided to let him take the situation in and think about it for himself first. I didn't want him to feel like he had to decide on the spot.
"Shall we head to class?" I asked.
He looked at me before nodding and slipping his hand out of mine to leave the dorm building. I hated when he was quiet, it made it so obvious that something was wrong.
I followed him towards UA while trying to keep my distance as not to fuel the rumours. Turns out Minas gossip got out because as we passed, I felt a thousand sets of eyes lock on us.
Bakugo walked with his head down and hands in his pockets, trying to ignore every little whispers that echoed down the hallway. I did my best to copy him... I really really did - but every now and then I couldn't stop myself from glaring or snapping back at a few of the rumours.
Bakugo entered 1-A classroom and instantly I could hear Dadzawa talking to him but I hung back a couple of moments before also joining them.
"Hitoshi..." Dad greeted me with a sad undertone.
Katsuki was already sat at his desk, slouching back into the chair with his feet up on the table.
I glanced around to make sure nobody else was looking at us before wrapping my arms around his shoulders from behind.
