"Okay so," Kendo began, crossing her legs and sitting down in front of me, "I'm going to tell you a list of traits and you tell me if it's a red flag or not."

"Why me?" I asked with a groan. She had been stressing over something for a while, now I guess I know what it was.

"Because somehow you got with Class 1-A's angry gremlin and the other two idiots are still single so I trust you the most with dating advice right now."

I nodded, getting more comfortable on the edge of her bed as I slipped my phone into my pocket. "Okay."

"Great! So there's this guy-"

"Red flag."

She stared at me speechless for a moment, mouth opening and closing like a fish as she searched for a response, "What!?"

"I just- I can't believe you're getting all worked up about some... guy?" I said, honestly. This was typically a job for Monoma whenever the ginger developed a new crush but he and TetsuTetsu had both gone out. Tetsu was with FatGum and Monoma was... somewhere? Probably terrorising class A.

"This one's different, Shinso! He's honest and he's sweet and-"

"Puh-lease!"

She rapidly collected her words, "He would never do anything to hurt me!"

"HE'S A GUY!!" I shouted, mildly surprised Neito hadn't had the same conversation with her before.

I watched as she took in a deep breath, eyes wandering to the door as a small group of 1-B girls passed by to go to their own dorms. Then I heard a gasp. She looked at me, eyes wide as though she had just come to a life changing realisation. "You're so right!"

I furrowed my eyebrows, "I know...? But why do YOU think I'm right?"

"Shiozaki is pretty!"

My eyebrows furrowed deeper as I muttered, "Yes? She's always been pretty what does that-" I blinked a few times, mentally scolding myself for being so slow, "OHHHH!!" I gasped. She's a lesbian! How did I miss that? "You mean-... right, good, yes! Be gay!"

She burst into laughter. No other sound could be heard in the moment so I was rather thankful for it as I stared off at the slightly open door.

"So do you..." I thought for a second as she calmed herself down, "Are we going to make Shiozaki fall for you?"

"Fuck no!" She exclaimed. Women are so confusing sometimes! I picked up a coffee mug I had been drinking from previously, lifting it to my lips and taking a sip, "Well maybe... I don't really know. Tsunotori is beautiful too."

I placed the mug back down, rolling my eyes at her, "Whatever, let me know if you need a wing man."

"The fuck are you going to do?"

I put my hand to my chest in fake offense. "Rude!"

Suddenly, there was a knock at the dorm door. I got up, walking to the door to both let the other person in and see myself out. "Talk later, Ken?"

"Sure thing!"

And with that I opened the door. Kodai walked in, nodding to me as I held the door for her before exiting and closing it behind me.

As I passed by Shoto Todoroki i couldn't help but feel some sort of pain in my chest. His dead eyes didn't even look my way but I still sent him a soft smile.

I don't remember my time in Endeavours household very well but Liv told me the basics. He had fostered us when I was very young, not long after Touya Todoroki was reported dead. Ever since I started at UA I've been meaning to speak to Shoto, let him know who I am but I doubt he would remember me anyway. He was never really around the rest of us.
