~~~Bakugo woke up the next morning with his head throbbing aggressively. It felt like his brain was about to jump out his skull. He groaned, turning over and slamming a hand on his alarm clock. It was Saturday now so of course, he was thankful not to have school but still the regret of last night was increasing everytime he tried to open his eyes.
The suns rays were shining directly on him, making it practically impossible to wake up without that headache becoming 10x worse. The room was spinning as he scrunched his eyes closed, throwing an arm over his face as to cover his eyes from the lights before turning over and burying his face in a pillow. Five more minutes...
Similarly, Shinso woke up feeling flooded with stressful thoughts. The sun was shining at him as he gazed right back at it, hoping to find some sort of peace in the natural world outside his window.
His thoughts were whirling, mind unable to stay still for even a second. He hadn't gotten much sleep the night previous, which wasn't exactly new to him - he rarely slept at all but this time was different. He had laid awake for hours trying and trying to sleep but his brain wouldn't shut down, replaying the kiss over and over again. Suddenly he wished he had drank more... maybe then he wouldn't have to remember it.
His eyes wandered towards his night stand. A lamp stood in the corner of the small drawer top, illuminating the small items around it: keys with 3 cat key rings on it, each changing in appearance according to his own cats; Mics spare pair of glasses he's yet to give back; a book that has began collecting dust; a small toy Eri had left and an empty glass of water. His phone was also there, resting on top of the book.
With a sigh, he pushed himself upwards so he was sat up in the bed and reached for the phone, opening it up and instantly scrolling over to messages.
Shinso💤
Hey... I wanted to talk to you?Could you come over?
Bakugo laid in his bed, trying his best to ignore the bling that came from his phone. He really didn't want to have to get up just yet, the sun was still as bright as ever and he hadn't had the chance to close the curtains.
Although, when a second notification illuminated his screen again, he finally forced himself to blink one eye open, glancing over to it.
"Purple haired freak show
-- (the asshole one.)"Instantly, the blonde jumped up from his laying position, reaching for his phone and typing back rapidly.
Bakugo❤️🔥
Why don't you just come here, asshole?Shinso💤
Please?...Bakugo❤️🔥
Fine. I'll be at your dorm in 5.Don't think I'll be doing this everytime
you got some random bullshit to tell me,
freak!!~~~
True to his words, Bakugo knocked on his dorm door in exactly five minutes, making Hitoshis heart beat faster than it ever had. He stood up, going to unlock it, "Come in..." Katsuki stepped inside, standing awkwardly by the door as he watched Shinso close it behind him then go to sit on his bed, "You can sit down, you know?"
Hesitantly, the blonde moved over to the bed and sat carefully on its edge. "What did you want, eyebags?"
"You kissed me last night..." Shinso said, looking around the room as he tried to find anything else to focus his gaze on instead of those enchanting, lava eyes.
"And you didn't stop me." Bakugo stated, slightly smug. He had instantly calmed down upon figuring out the topic - he knew how this conversation would end already.
"I've already told you, your feelings or whatever are a mistake. So do whatever you have to do and get rid of them!" Shinso pleaded, his heart breaking from his own words as guilt over took his emotions while his brain fought to make the right decisions.
Katsuki moved closer to him, maintaining eye contact the entire time, "Look, if you really hate me I'll leave you alone. We can pretend that I never said anything or did anything if it means you'll keep putting up with me but you've been flirting with me this entire time. Why change your mind now?"
Shinso kept quiet a moment, trying to come up with some sort of believable excuse but nothing came to mind. He struggled to make his words form as they should, trying to come up with a coherent sentence that wouldn't make the atmosphere anymore awkward than he already felt. "..I don't hate you, Bakugo."
Katsukis cheeks pinkened gently, "I know..."
"Sometimes I wish I did. It would make a whole lot of shit a whole lot easier... but I can't. I can't even mildly dislike you." Hitoshi groaned, throwing himself backwards so he was now laid down on the bed.
"I know." Katsuki grinned confidently, "Guess it makes me a lucky bastard that you can't manage it?" His eyes wandered back to him, body turning to face him.
Shinso lay there in silence a moment, staring at the blonde with his lips softly parted. "I either want to make you scream my name in agony or in pleasure..." Shinso whispered, gazing at the blonde, "I can never fully tell with you."
"How about both?" Katsuki whispered back, eyes locked on violet pools. His cheeks were a bright red but he did well at masking the fluster.
Hitoshi blushed deeply, as he reached his hand forward, fingers getting lost in the others spiked hair. After a few seconds of playing with his golden strands, Hitoshi pulled Bakugo down, inches away from kissing him.
Suddenly there was a knock at his dorm door, "Shinbro? Can I talk to you?" Kirishimas voice came from the other side.
"Shit... hide!" Hitoshi whispered, removing his hand and shooing Bakugo away. The blonde slid off the bed as quickly as he could, hiding under it. "Yeah sure, doors unlocked!" Shinso finally announced once he was confident the blonde wouldn't be seen.
The door opened slowly, creaking slightly, "Hey... do me a favour? And be sweet to Bakubro?" Kirishima looked awkwardly around the room before his eyes landed on Shinso again, "i think he kinda... has a crush on you."
"Really? I never noticed." Hitoshi held back his laughter as he listened to the words that continued to spill from the red heads mouth.
"Of course you didn't, nobody he likes ever does. I know he can be an ass but he just doesn't really know how to express his emotions so he... y'know deflects them. Just.. be mindful of that, yeah?"
"Sure thing."
Ejiro nodded, backing out the dorm again and closing the door behind him. The second his footsteps quietened Hitoshi burst into laughter and Katsuki got up from under the bed.
"SHUT UP!" He shouted, blushing deeply but his tone only made the other laugh harder.
After a few moments, the purple haired boy calmed down, gazing into lava eyes. "Did you tell him about your... crush?"
"No." Bakugo admitted, leaning closer again, "Shitty hair seems to think he knows everything about me. Acts like I'm some book to read."
"Hmm." The noise came from Hitoshis closed lips, "He seemed right this time."
"Yeah. Anyway, shut the fuck up about shark teeth." The blonde leaned in a little closer, gabbing Shinso by his shirt as the material scrunched together in his hand, "Where were we?"
