"What?" Eva looked at YN in surprise. "Y- You're ready to be my friend?"

YN nodded reassuringly. "Yes, Eva! I will be your friend."

YN, showing a friendly gesture, extends her hand in front of Eva. "Friends?"

"Yes!" Eva reciprocates with a warm smile and a handshake, solidifying the beginning of a new friendship.

In a spontaneous and intriguing move, YN takes hold of Eva's book, seemingly with a purpose. As curiosity sets in, Eva peeks into her book to find YN discreetly jotting down a number.

"This is my number. Whenever you feel low you can call me, okay?" YN asks Eva while passing the book to her.

Eva smiles and says, "Okay!"

--Timeskip--

--Jungkook's Mansion--

Jungkook steps into the mansion, the opulence of his surroundings envelops him. The chandelier overhead casts a warm and inviting glow, illuminating the plush furnishings that adorn the living room.

Placing his bag carefully on the couch, Jungkook's keen eyes sweep the room. With a sense of comfort washing over him, Jungkook calls out to Eva. "Bun, I am home."

The silence that follows is broken only by the soft rustle of the curtains in the gentle breeze. Taking a seat on the couch, Jungkook's thoughts drift to the events of the day.

Meanwhile Eva walks out of her room with a book grasped in her hand and descends the stairs. Spotting Jungkook, she makes a beeline towards him and settles down beside him, a sense of purpose in her gaze. "Appa, may I have your phone?" she requests softly.

Acknowledging Eva's presence, Jungkook tenderly strokes her head before inquiring, "May I know the reason for your request for my phone? Is there something specific you need to do or find?"

Eva's eyes light up as she explains, "I made a new friend today. So I want to save her number on your mobile phone."

Jungkook frowns, "Your friend has a mobile phone?"

Eva nods, "Appa please give me your phone."

"I don't know why parents give phones to kids." Jungkook mumbles, feeling exasperated, expresses his frustration with parents providing phones to kids. He questions the reasoning behind this decision as he hands his phone to Eva, seemingly in disbelief.

"She is not a kid." Eva promptly refutes Jungkook's remark and saves YN's number on Jungkook's phone. After saving the number Eva calls YN.

--Min's Apartment--

YN and Namjoon were fully engrossed in their discussion regarding the case at hand when suddenly, the tranquility of their conversation was disrupted by the shrill ringing of YN's mobile phone.

"Namjoon Oppa, give me a minute." YN says and receives the call.

--On Call--

YN:

Hello?

Eva:

YN ma'am! Eva here.

______

--Jungkook's Mansion--

As Jungkook heard Eva utter YN's name, he was instantly jolted into a state of alertness, his body rigid as he perched on the edge of the couch. The mere mention of YN's name seemed to captivate Jungkook, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions. "Did I hear it right? Did she just took YN's name?"

In that moment, Jungkook found himself grappling with a myriad of emotions, unsure of how Eva got YN's number.

--On Call--

YN:

Hi, Eva!

Eva:

Ma'am save this number too.
This is my Appa's number.
If I don't pick up your call
on landline then call me
on this number.

YN:

(She sighs) Yes!
Eva I will talk to you later.
I'm busy right now.

Eva:

(She smiles) Okay!
Sorry for distributing you.
Byee!

YN:

Byee!

--Call Ends--

Eva looks and Jungkook and says, "Appa! Your phone!"

Jungkook takes his phone from Eva and asks, "Eva, how did you get YN's number?"

"YN ma'am gave me her phone number. She is my friend now." Eva replies and raises an eyebrow before asking, "Appa you know YN ma'am right? Because the way you address her just now it's clear that you know her."

Jungkook sighs and asks, "Why are you so curious about her, Eva?"

Upon being questioned by Jungkook about her palpable interest in YN, Eva responded with a direct yet tactful assertion, "I'm not curious about YN ma'am, but you are. Appa whenever YN ma'am's name is mentioned you always look so attentive and curious." With a steady gaze fixed on Jungkook, Eva pointed out that whenever YN's name entered the conversation, Jungkook's demeanor shifted towards attentiveness and curiosity.

"Appa, you-" Eva began to say, but Mia abruptly cut her off with a sharp interjection. "Jungkook Oppa!" Mia's voice carried across the living room as she entered, swiftly closing the distance to where Jungkook is sitting. Her expression was serious, "Jungkook Oppa, I need to talk to you about something very important."

Jungkook turns his gaze towards Eva, and says, "Go to your room. We will talk later."

Eva silently acknowledged his command, nodding once before she quietly made her way upstairs.

Meanwhile, Mia took a seat beside Jungkook and said, "Jungkook Oppa, I think you should get married again."

Jungkook looked at Mia coldly. "Why do you think so?"

Mia smiled and replied, "Oppa, Eva is still young and she needs a mother's love. So I think you should consider getting married."

Jungkook sighs heavily. "You're right. Eva needs a mother's love."

"Oppa, I know someone who would take care of Eva like her own daughter," Mia said, carefully observing Jungkook's expression.

Jungkook looked at Mia and asked, "Who?"

Mia nervously bit her bottom lip and replied, "My friend, Mingi."
