--Jeon's Mansion--

YN frowns and asks, "What do you want from me?"

"I want you to kiss me in front of your husband." Taehyung smirked, glancing at Jungkook.

"What?" Jungkook gritted his teeth in anger. "She will never-"

YN cut him off, saying, "Okay! Deal!" She replied with a straight face.

Jungkook felt a pang in his heart upon hearing YN's response. "YN, how can you accept his condition without giving it a second thought?"

Taehyung bit his bottom lip and chuckled. "This woman is going to be the death of me. Her determination is impressive, and it seems like she's willing to do whatever it takes to find Lily, even if it means making a deal with me," He said, looking at Jungkook.

"Fine!" Taehyung turned his gaze to YN. "I will find your niece. I promise I won't disappoint you, love." He blew a kiss at YN and winked at Jungkook before walking away.

As Taehyung left, the room fell into an uneasy silence. Jungkook looked at YN with a mixture of frustration and concern, struggling to understand her quick agreement to Taehyung's terms.

Jungkook grabbed YN's wrist and turned her around to face him. "This is wrong, YN. You are my wife. Even if you don't see me as your husband, where are your ethics?"

YN yanked her wrist away from Jungkook and replied, "If you think I would kiss him, then you clearly don't know me at all. Even though I may not feel love in my heart for you, I still respect the institution of marriage. So, rest assured, Mr. Jeon." She said this firmly and then turned on her heels, heading towards her room.

Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair in frustration and kicked the broken door that lay near his feet.

9:45 PM

Everyone was sitting at the dining table, including Mia, who had just returned from Mingi's house.

Yoongi glanced at Jungkook, who was glaring at YN while eating his dinner.

"Is everything okay between the two of you?" Yoongi asked, looking between YN and Jungkook.

Jungkook set his spoon down, stood up from his seat, and said, "I'm full," before walking upstairs.

Yoongi turned his attention back to YN. "YN, could you explain what's going on?"

"I'm just really tired, Oppa. I need to get some rest," YN said, standing up from her seat and heading toward her room.

Eva tugged on Yoongi's shirt sleeve and asked, "Did Eomma and Appa have a fight with each other?"

Yoongi smiled gently and shook his head. "No, they didn't have a fight. They're just tired after a long day. So don't worry too much about it, okay?"

Eva nodded but then looked towards Jungkook's room with a worried expression. "Did I do something wrong by trying to bring them together?" Her thoughts swirled with concern as she considered whether her intentions had unintentionally caused any trouble.

--Jungkook's Room--

Eva entered Jungkook's room and found it empty at first. However, she soon saw Jungkook walking out of the bathroom. "Appa!" She exclaimed, running towards him with excitement.

Jungkook smiled warmly and lifted Eva into his arms. "Why are you still awake, Bun?" He asked gently.

Eva looked up at him with her big, pleading eyes and said, "Appa, I want to go somewhere with you and Eomma tomorrow."

Jungkook's expression shifted to one of concern as he furrowed his brow. "But you have school tomorrow, don't you?"

Eva nodded in response. "We can go after school. You can pick us up. Eomma and I will wait for you at the school gate."

Jungkook let out a heavy sigh. "Have you talked to Eomma about this?"

"Yes, Appa! I spoke with her before coming here," Eva replied excitedly.

Jungkook thought about the earlier incident and clenches his jaw in frustration. He quickly softened his expression when he noticed Eva looking at him with a concerned frown. He gently set Eva down and said, "Alright, we'll go wherever you want, but for now, you need to get some sleep."

"Okay, Appa! Good night!" Eva exclaimed, giving Jungkook a quick kiss on the cheek before darting out of the room.

After Eva left, Jungkook walked out of his room and headed towards YN's room. He knocked gently on the door and, upon hearing a soft "Come in," he opened the door and stepped inside. The room was dimly lit, and YN was sitting on the edge of the bed, her expression thoughtful. Jungkook closed the door behind him and approached her.

"Why are you here so late?" YN asked with a frown.

"I'm here to clear up any misunderstandings," Jungkook said, meeting her gaze directly. "In case you're thinking I suggested we go out tomorrow-I didn't. It was Eva's idea. I have no clue where she wants to go or what her plans are."

YN nodded, closing her eyes briefly. "Alright, I believe you."

Jungkook frowned, noticing the fatigue in her expression. He walked over to the edge of the bed and asked gently, "Are you alright?" His voice was laced with concern, as he looked at her with a mix of worry and care.

YN opened her eyes and noticed Jungkook standing close to her. "I'm fine! If you're done here, then please leave," She said, her voice a mix of irritation and exhaustion.

Jungkook reached out and placed the back of his hand on YN's forehead to check for a fever, but she quickly yanked his hand away. "What's your problem? I told you I'm fine," She said firmly.

"You are definitely not fine," Jungkook said, his tone growing more intense with concern. "I'm going to my room to get you some medicine. And don't you dare lock the door after I leave. If you do, I swear I'll break it down to get in." He warned before turning around.

YN watched him leave, frustration crossing her face as she realized he wasn't going to take no for an answer. "This giant bunny gets on my nerves every time he gets the chance."
