--YN's Room--

"Take this medicine," Jungkook ordered.

YN sighed and took the medicine without arguing. "Happy? Now leave."

Jungkook was about to say something but was interrupted by a knock at the door. "Come in," He said, glancing at the room entrance.

The maid entered the room, holding a tray in her hands. "Sir, you asked for this."

Jungkook nodded and instructed her to place the tray on the nightstand. Once the maid left, Jungkook glanced at YN. "Lie down. I'll place a cold compress on your forehead; it should help bring your fever down."

"You don't have to do all this, Jungkook. Please, just go," YN requested with annoyance. "I'm too tired to argue with you."

"That's good!" Jungkook exclaimed. With a determined smile, he carefully lifted YN in a bridal carry and gently placed her on the bed, arranging the pillows and blankets around her to ensure she was comfortable.

"What the hell? Don't cross the line, Jungkook." YN said angrily, still lying on the bed and glaring at him.

Jungkook's expression remained steady as he looked at her. "You don't know what crossing the line really means," He said, his tone calm but firm. "If I were to cross the line, you'd wake up in my bed tomorrow morning." He then carefully arranged the cold compress and gently placed it on her forehead.

"I really want to slap you hard," YN said through gritted teeth, her anger palpable.

Jungkook remained unruffled and took a seat beside her. "You can slap me after you recover," He said, his voice soft but resolute. "For now, just focus on getting better. I'm not going anywhere." He reached out and adjusted the cold compress slightly, ensuring it was positioned correctly. "Rest up. I'll be here if you need anything."

YN sighed in defeat and closed her eyes. Meanwhile, Jungkook smiled and kept staring at her.

--Next Day--

--Morning--

YN shifted on her bed and slowly opened her eyes, only to see Jungkook sleeping peacefully with his head resting on the edge of her bed. She quietly got up and gazed at him, a mix of surprise and disbelief on her face. "He could have slept on the couch," She murmured to herself. Shaking her head, she carefully stood up and went to the couch to retrieve an extra blanket. Returning to the bed, she gently draped the blanket over Jungkook, ensuring he was comfortable. As she adjusted the blanket, she couldn't help but smile at the sight of him resting so peacefully.

--Timeskip--

YN walked out of the bathroom and noticed that Jungkook was still asleep. She wondered aloud, "Was he awake the whole night?" She headed toward the dressing table and, through the mirror, kept her gaze fixed on Jungkook. With a sigh, she turned around and approached her bed.

She sat down on one knee and gently shook Jungkook's shoulder. "Jungkook, you should go and sleep in your room," she said softly.

"Hmm..." Jungkook hummed in response and slowly opened his eyes. In a raspy voice, he asked, "How are you feeling now?"

"I'm feeling better. You can go to your room now," YN said, starting to stand up. However, Jungkook reached out and gently pulled her back down.

"Let me check for myself," He muttered, placing his hand on YN's forehead. "Thank goodness you don't have a fever. Still, you need some rest. You're not going to school today."

YN chuckled mockingly. "Excuse me! Who do you think you are to make that decision?"

"Your husband!" Jungkook replied firmly.

YN glared at Jungkook and yanked his hand away. "I tolerated this yesterday, but not today. Get out of my room, right now."

Jungkook looked taken aback by her sudden change in demeanor. He opened his mouth to respond but stopped himself. With a sigh, he slowly got up from the floor. "Alright, I'll leave," He said, his voice tinged with frustration and concern. "But remember, I'm only trying to look out for you. If you want to go to school, then fine. I'll drop you and Eva off myself. I won't take no for an answer."

He carefully removed the blanket from him and placed it back on the bed. Before leaving the room, he added, "I'm just trying to help, so please, don't push me away." With that, he walked out of the room, closing the door softly behind him.

--Timeskip--

--AJ School--

Eva waves at Jungkook and says, "Bye, Appa! Come pick us up soon; we need to go somewhere."

Jungkook glances at YN and then back at Eva. "Eva, Eomma isn't feeling well right now. We'll go wherever you'd like in a few days, okay?"

YN sighs and adds, "I'm really fine, though. There's no need to upset Eva. We can go today if it's important to her."

Eva looks at YN and says, "I won't be upset, Eomma. Your health is the most important thing to Appa and me."

Jungkook smiles and pats Eva on the head. "My daughter has grown up so much," He says, turning to YN. "Please take care of yourself."

YN nods and retrieves her handbag from Jungkook's car. As she picks up her bag, she doesn't realize that her gun has fallen out of her bag and onto the backseat.

After YN and Eva entered the school gate, Jungkook took his seat in the driver's side of the car and drove off toward his company.

--Jeon's Mansion--

At Night

--YN's Room--

Things in YN's room were scattered everywhere. She searched every corner, but she couldn't find her gun. Frustration mounted as she wondered aloud, "Where the hell did I put it?" Running her fingers through her hair in exasperation, she was about to check the closet again when she heard Jungkook's voice.

"Are you looking for this, YN?" Jungkook asked, holding up YN's gun with a calm, slightly amused expression.

YN walked toward Jungkook, ready to snatch her gun from him. However, Jungkook raised his hand to keep it out of her reach and said, "Before you get this back, you need to answer my questions."

"What the hell, Jungkook! Give me my gun back," YN demanded angrily, her voice rising.

Jungkook took a step back and replied firmly, "You're not getting it until you tell me why you have a gun."

Fuming, YN gritted her teeth and took a step closer to him. "That's none of your business."

Jungkook abruptly yanked YN toward him, gripping her waist firmly. He locked his gaze with hers and said, "Everything about you is my business."
