--Jeon's Mansion--

--Yoongi's Room--

Jimin knocks on Yoongi's bedroom door and enters after hearing a "Come in."

Yoongi looks up at Jimin and smiles. "Hey, are you here to see Lily? I'm sorry, but she's asleep."

Jimin smiles sadly and shakes his head. "I'm here to talk with you."

"Oh, okay! Let's head to the balcony and chat," Yoongi suggests. He gestures toward the door and leads the way, with Jimin following him.

"Hyung, when did YN and Jungkook get married?" Jimin asked.

Yoongi sighed heavily. "A few weeks ago. But you could say it's a marriage of convenience. YN did it because of Eva..."

Yoongi then explained everything to Jimin. As Jimin listened to the entire story, a wave of relief washed over him. He smiled but quickly masked his expression when Yoongi turned to face him.

"Did you eat anything?" Yoongi asked.

Jimin shook his head and replied, "I'm not hungry. Anyway, you should spend your time with Lily. I'll take my leave now."

Yoongi smiled and said, "Make sure to come and visit me again soon."

"Of course!" Jimin said, bowing slightly before turning to leave the room.

--Living Room--

"Why is it supposed to be him and not anyone else?" Jungkook said, running his fingers through his hair.

YN frowned and looked at Jungkook. "What are you talking about?"

Jungkook glanced at YN and sighed heavily. "Nothing. I'll be back." He said, turning and walking toward the kitchen.

On the other hand, Jimin approached YN with a smile. "Hyung told me everything."

YN raised an eyebrow. "About what?"

"That your marriage to Jungkook is a marriage of convenience. That means I still have a chance," Jimin replied confidently.

Meanwhile, Jungkook emerged from the kitchen, holding a glass of water. He froze in his tracks when he saw Jimin stepping closer to YN.

Jimin grasped YN's hands firmly. "YN, will you come back to me? I promise I'll make things right. I'll talk to Jungkook; I'm sure he'll listen to me. After all, he is our best friend."

Jungkook, overheard the entire conversation from behind a nearby pillar.

Jimin continued, "I know you and Jungkook don't have feelings for each other. You're only together because of Eva. Am I right?" He gazed earnestly into YN's eyes. "Please say yes, YN. This time, I don't want to lose you."

YN took a step back and folded her arms before speaking. "Even though it's a marriage of convenience, I have decided to give Jungkook a chance. I'm ready to move on from the past we had together. So, Park Jimin, don't you dare come between me and Jungkook. Everything between us is over."

Jimin's face flushed with a mix of anger and frustration. "You're lying!" He exclaimed, his voice rising slightly. "How can you forgive Jungkook but not me? He treated us poorly in the past, and yet you're willing to give him another chance?"

"Because he is not like you," YN said, raising her voice slightly. "You claimed to love me, but when it came to accepting our relationship in front of your family, what did you do? Jimin, you said you wanted to focus on your career. I had no issue with that, but what hurt the most was when you told your mom that I was madly in love with you and that you couldn't get rid of me easily."

"As for Jungkook, he still openly admits his love for me. His feelings haven't changed, even after our friendship ended. I'm not saying that one shouldn't move on after being rejected by their first love, but what you did is something I can never forget. Your actions have left a lasting impression, and it's not something I can just overlook."

A tear escaped from Jimin's eye. "I-I can explain, YN."

"But I am not interested in hearing your explanation," YN said, turning her face away. "I am grateful to you for rescuing my niece, and I will always be thankful for that. But it doesn't change anything between us. So please leave."

Jungkook walked slowly towards YN and Jimin, holding out a glass in front of YN. "Drink this," He said firmly.

YN looked at Jungkook and hesitantly took the glass from him.

Jungkook then turned to face Jimin. "Hyung, please stay for dinner before you leave. We should at least show our gratitude properly for saving Lily. Right, YN?"

YN glanced between Jimin and Jungkook, considering the situation. She finally nodded in agreement. "Yes, Jungkook is right. It's the least we can do to thank you for everything you've done."

Jimin took a deep breath and said, "No, thank you. I will take my leave." He glanced at YN one last time before heading toward the main door.

As Jimin left, tears began to flow down YN's cheeks. Jungkook noticed the tears and gently pulled YN into a warm embrace. "I know there's a part of you that still loves him," He said softly. "You can try to hide it from everyone else, but you can't fool me, YN."

YN clutched Jungkook's shirt tightly, burying her face in his chest as she continued to cry. The comfort of his presence and the weight of her emotions combined, making her tears flow freely. Jungkook held her close, offering silent support as she let out her pain, his hand gently stroking her back to reassure her.

YN slowly wrapped her arms around Jungkook's waist and said, "Jimin was my past, and you are my present. Even if I don't love you, I will never go back to him."

Jungkook gently pulled away from the hug and tried to steer the conversation in a different direction. "How about we eat something?"

YN wiped away her tears and looked into Jungkook's eyes. "Could you make some space in your room for me?"

Jungkook looked at her in surprise. "Wh- What?"

YN took a deep breath and replied, "Starting today, I'll be sleeping in your room."

"In my room?" Jungkook asked, visibly shocked.

YN nodded and thought, "Yes, because something is going to happen soon."
