Jungkook punched Jimin in the face, causing him to fall to the floor.

Seeing this, YN rushed over to help Jimin. Glaring at Jungkook, she asked angrily, "What the hell is wrong with you, Jungkook?"

Jungkook avoided making eye contact with YN as he responded, "Tell your boyfriend to stay away from me. I don't want any of you near me. I can't believe I was ever friends with such low-class people." He scoffed and walked past them, deliberately stepping on the glasses that Jimin had dropped when he was hit.

YN was ready to confront Jungkook, but Jimin stopped her. "Let it be, YN. He's not the Jungkook we knew. We shouldn't lower ourselves to his level."

--Present--

"Wear your seatbelt," YN said in a monotonous tone, her eyes focused on the road ahead.

Jungkook, his frustration evident, snapped back, "Don't you think you're being a bit too harsh on me?" Jungkook begrudgingly fastened his seatbelt, his anger palpable.

YN's expression remained stern as she replied, "You ruined the friendship between us. Now you have to face the consequences." She started the engine with a decisive turn of the key and shifted the car into gear. As the vehicle began to move, the air inside the car grew thick with tension, each of them engrossed in their thoughts and feelings as they drove toward home.

They both remained silent for a few minutes, the weight of their unresolved issues hanging in the air. Finally, Jungkook broke the silence. "I had a reason back then. I'm sorry."

YN's voice was stern as she replied, "It took you 12 years to say that. Aren't you a bit too late to apologize now?"

Jungkook lowered his head, his voice filled with regret. "I know. But will you at least give me a chance to explain my side of the story?"

YN's grip on the steering wheel tightened as she considered his request, the silence punctuated only by the steady hum of the engine.

After a moment, YN nodded and said, "Of course. Let me hear what excuses you've come up with to justify the way you treated Jimin and me back then."

Jungkook sighed heavily. "I will only tell the truth, YN. I know that after ending our friendship, I insulted you and Jimin Hyung numerous times. But I did all of that with you in mind. I didn't want to come between you and Jimin Hyung."

YN let out a mocking chuckle. "Jungkook, save your breath if you're just going to make up stories to justify your past actions. The truth is, you-"

Before she could finish, Jungkook interrupted her, his voice rising with urgency. "I DID ALL OF THAT BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO GET HURT. I DID IT BECAUSE I WAS MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOU, YN."

Jungkook's sudden confession left YN stunned, causing her to instinctively slam on the car's brakes, bringing the vehicle to a jarring halt. The sudden stop jolted them both, and YN's mind raced as she tried to process what she had just heard.

YN turned to face Jungkook and asked, "What did you say?"

Jungkook closed his eyes and massaged his temples before looking at YN with a pained expression. "I wasn't lying in front of Mr. Han. You are my first love, YN. I still love you the same way I did back then."

"You're lying!" YN exclaimed, her voice filled with disbelief.

"I'm not lying," Jungkook said, his tone earnest. "I acted like a jerk back then so that you would hate me and stay away from me. If it hadn't been for Jimin Hyung, I would have done everything to win you back. I didn't want to ruin my friendship with him."

Jungkook rested his head on the car seat, his eyes reflecting a deep sense of regret. "You made everything so difficult for me. Your little gestures would make my heart flutter. Even a casual hug from you felt like a moment I never wanted to end."

YN tightened her grip on the steering wheel again and asked, "Did you really use Eva just to keep me by your side?" Her voice was laden with a mixture of betrayal and pain. "Is that what this was all about? Did you manipulate situations and use other people just to make sure I stayed close to you? How could you use someone like that and think it was acceptable?"

Jungkook closed his eyes in frustration and replied, "Why do you always misunderstand me, YN? Why can't you ever believe that I'm being honest with you?"

"We are done here, Jungkook!" YN exclaimed, her voice resolute. Without waiting for a response, she threw open the car door and stepped out into the night, leaving Jungkook behind.

Jungkook quickly followed her, catching up just as she was about to walk away. He seized her wrist and pulled her close, his eyes filled with desperation. "How could you ever think that I would use my daughter to manipulate you into marrying me? How can you think so poorly of me, YN?" His voice trembled, and tears began to well up in his eyes. "If I were truly capable of such deceit, I wouldn't have waited twelve years to confess my feelings. I wouldn't have endured all this time. Everything I did was because I couldn't bear to lose you, and now you think I'm just playing a game?"

Jungkook took a deep breath and said, "Please, don't punish my daughter for my mistakes, okay?"

YN was about to push Jungkook away but halted when her phone began to ring. She stepped back, taking a moment to collect herself, and answered the call.

--On Call--

YN:

Yes Namjoon Oppa?

Namjoon:

YN, come home quickly.
Yoongi Hyung suddenly fainted.
I've called the doctor, and he
should be here any time now.

YN:

W- What? O- Okay!
I will be there in 10 minutes.

Namjoon:

Okay! Drive safely.

YN:

Yes!

--Call Ends--

"What happened?" Jungkook asked, his voice laced with concern.

YN didn't respond; instead, she hurried toward the car. Jungkook followed closely behind, pressing her for answers. "What's wrong, YN?"

"I don't have time to explain right now. Just get in the car," YN replied tersely as she slid into the driver's seat. Jungkook quickly took his place in the passenger seat, and they drove off toward Min's apartment.
