--Jeon's Mansion--

Jungkook walked into the mansion and noticed Mia biting her nails. "Stop biting your nails, Mia. If you're hungry, go and have dinner." He said calmly.

Mia flinched at his voice and glanced up, her eyes wide with surprise. "O- Oppa!" She stammered. She quickly got up from the couch and began to look around, avoiding eye contact with him.

Jungkook furrowed his brow, concern evident in his expression. "What's wrong? Is everything okay?" He asked, his voice filled with genuine worry.

Mia frowned and glanced at Jungkook, a thought crossing her mind. "Looks like YN didn't tell Oppa anything," She mused, forcing a nervous smile. "Yes! Everything is okay!" She replied, trying to sound convincing.

Just then, YN walked into the mansion and exclaimed, "No, it's not!" Her eyes darted between Jungkook and Mia as she spoke. "Jungkook, I don't want Mingi to set foot in this mansion again."

Jungkook's confusion deepened as he looked from YN to Mia. "Why? What happened?" He asked, his voice laced with concern. "Can someone please explain what's going on?"

YN sighed heavily and recounted everything that had happened earlier in the morning. As YN spoke, Jungkook's expression hardened, and he clenched his fists, glaring at Mia. "Is this true, Mia?" He asked, his voice cold.

Mia stammered, "Oppa, I-I can explain. Mingi ju-" Jungkook cut her off sharply. "SHUT UP! ARE YOU STILL GOING TO DEFEND HER? KEEP YOUR DAMN FRIENDSHIP OUT OF MY MANSION! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NEVER TO LET EVA KNOW THE TRUTH?"

Mia lowered her head, tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm s-sorry, Oppa. I apologize on Mingi's behalf," She said quietly, her voice trembling.

Jungkook's face was set in a stern expression, his eyes unwavering as he spoke. "I don't want to hear your apology, Mia. If you make one more mistake, I will have no choice but to send you to Busan to stay with Grandma. And yes, ensure that Mingi never sets foot in our mansion again."

Mia nodded solemnly, her shoulders slumping as she turned on her heels. Without another word, she walked slowly towards her room, her footsteps echoing through the mansion's quiet halls.

Jungkook turned to YN and said, "Thank you so much for standing up for Eva. I really appreciate it."

YN nodded in acknowledgment. "Eva was crying a lot, but I managed to calm her down. She's okay now; she was playing with Yoongi Oppa when I left the apartment. So, you don't need to worry about her."

Jungkook sighed with relief but still looked concerned. "I'll go see her myself, just to be sure. I can't stop worrying about her." He then extended a paper bag toward YN. "I bought this for you. Please wear it to the birthday party tomorrow."

YN took the bag from Jungkook and glanced inside before turning her attention back to him. "I don't need this," She said, attempting to hand it back. "I have something in my wardrobe that will work."

Jungkook shook his head, his expression firm yet gentle. "Please, wear this. I bought a matching suit that complements the gown's color perfectly. Consider it a small gift from me for standing up for Eva today."

YN hesitated for a moment and then scoffed, "Are you going to gift me things every time I do something for you and Eva?"

Jungkook smiled and said, "I'd do anything for you."

YN looked at him in surprise, her mouth opening as if to respond, but Jungkook gently cut her off. "Anyway, I'm going to see Eva now. I'll be back soon, and then let's have dinner together."

YN nodded, still processing Jungkook's words. "Okay, I'll see you later then." She said.

Jungkook nodded in return and turned to leave. As YN also turned to head upstairs, something suddenly clicked in her mind. "Wait a minute! Why should I have dinner with him?" She thought, pausing in her tracks.

--Next Day--

--Evining--

Jungkook was waiting for YN to come downstairs so they could head to the birthday party together.

Soon, he heard the distinct sound of heels clicking against the stairs and looked up eagerly. There stood YN, looking absolutely stunning in the gown he had bought for her. Her elegance and grace left him momentarily speechless.

"I'm ready! Let's go," YN said as she stood in front of Jungkook.

Jungkook nodded, his eyes filled with admiration. They both headed to the car and drove off from there.

--Party Hall--

Jungkook and YN entered the party hall and took a seat at a table. Soon, Mr. Han spotted Jungkook and walked over to him.

"Hello, Mr. Jeon! How are you?" Mr. Han inquired.

Jungkook immediately stood up from his chair and greeted Mr. Han with a smile. "I'm doing well, thank you. How are you?"

"I'm good, thank you for asking! Rachel has been eagerly waiting for you," Mr. Han chuckled, glancing over at YN, who was sipping her drink. He then turned his attention back to Jungkook. "Who is she-"

Before Mr. Han could finish his sentence, his daughter Rachel interrupted, "Dad! Why didn't you tell me Jungkook was here?" She approached Jungkook and gave him a warm hug, her excitement evident. "I've been waiting for you."

She broke the hug and took Jungkook's hand firmly in hers, but Jungkook gently withdrew his hand and took a step back.

Rachel's smile faded into a frown as she asked, "What's wrong?"

Jungkook looked uncomfortable and replied, "You can't be this close to me, Ms. Rachel. I'm married."

Rachel's eyes widened in shock. "What? Y- You're married? Are you serious?"

Jungkook nodded and said, "Yes, I am. My wife is here with me." He turned his gaze toward YN and signaled for her to come closer.

YN rose from her chair and walked over to stand beside Jungkook. She then bowed respectfully in front of Mr. Han and Rachel. "Hello," She said with a polite, though somewhat reserved, tone. "I'm Jeon YN."
